anyone can be a photographer

Hey man, concert photography isn’t always like a normal job. You cant really apply for it most of the time. Sometimes you can, maybe if you are working for a publication. But even then it always helps to avoid a cold intro and get recommended by someone you know. That is how I navigate the industry. Sometimes it can be slower growth but in the end I find it more rewarding. That being said it is good to start with your close friends/ family. Local bands etc. From there try to get recommended to shoot other artists and slowly grow. Your intent shouldn’t be to use  people however, just do good work, be a good person and don’t rush it- everything will fall into place. Hope that helps a bit. Remember it is different for everyone and it doesn't matter if what you are doing is wrong/ right (although I know sometimes it can be reassuring to know you are at least headed in the right direction) - all that matters is that it works. 

I have no idea to be honest. If they are the same series then usually the newer camera is *better* but I mean you can also think of like this.... If a car can go 150mph but costs more than the car that goes 120mph - are you going to get the more expensive one? Probably not, because neither capability really matters. Same thing with cameras, sometimes what makes them better isn’t something that will really apply to what you are doing. So keep that in mind.
