And how fucking inappropriate was it of Isabelle to say something like “you were all fooled for thinking the predator was Steve! It was Michael! Steve is just a teddy bear”… what the fuck. People have been talking about both Steve and Michael’s behavior for years. Nobody was “fooled” and why does she think it is appropriate to try to say something like that at a time like this? There were so many people in the comments of that Tweet sharing stories about what Steve did, like fuck off. She had been defending Steve for so long at that point and only after Steve finally decides to come clean does she decide the “rumors” are real. 

The way IBB invalidated everyone coming forward about SN immediately after MR was outed, only to be proved wrong a week later but continue to invalidate victims by saying that SN didn’t do anything illegal, is absolutely foul. To then allow him to take charge of the apology and let him leave out the harassment, assault, pedophilia, rape accusations, and minimize it to being about “hooking up” with fans is just... unforgivable. It’s criminal.

We’ve heard, and can confirm that SN is no longer a member of the band. They will not be working with him again in the future.

Honestly, I hate that I’m back. I would really prefer not to be. I think the ULTIMATE ultimate goal of this blog is definitely to not have to exist anymore. 

The stuff with MR is absolutely horrible, but I am glad that they decided to call him out, though I think they could and should have done it quite a few years ago. I am also interested in what happens next, especially if people start contacting her about issues that involve band members other than MR, which apparently she IS open to, even though her tweet didn’t specify.

This is not a court of law. This is just a blog, and one that you don’t even have to look at if you don’t want to... but since you brought it up -

What would you consider evidence in a situation where a grown adult man is making inappropriate comments to a minor? Flirting with them? Touching them? Kissing them? (Don’t say “video” because we have one of those already. It’s still not enough. We have witnesses, too. Still not enough.)

What would you consider evidence in a situation where the harassment takes place online? In livestreams that weren’t saved? Blogs that were deleted? Private messages and email? (Don’t say “screenshots,” because everyone knows you can fake those. It’s still not enough. There’s witnesses for these things as well, and that’s still not enough, either.)

Sometimes the only evidence is a victim’s account of what happened to them. When so many victims over several years who probably don’t even know each other have similar stories, that’s pretty damning, in my opinion. 

I am also not being “hateful of a band because of accusations” I am hurting because they hurt people I love. They hurt me. My pain is not performative. When people tell me to my face that the things I experienced, or my friends experienced, didn’t happen... I honestly can say that person’s opinion on the subject does not have much value to me. You can think whatever you like, but you don’t have to invalidate everyone’s experiences. You can keep it to yourself.

Personally, I don’t feel very comfortable wishing death on everyone in the band. I want them to take responsibility for their actions, apologize to those they’ve hurt, get rid of SN, and have them all accept whatever the consequences to their actions would be... and then move on and be better than they have before. I've been informed that IBB has been working on that lately, which I think is a good start.

I also get the impression that you probably haven’t seen much of this blog, because I’m not actually seeking revenge. I want people to be aware of the band’s past so they can be safe in their interactions with them. If I’m “seeking” absolutely anything at all, it isn’t revenge. It’s closure. It’s peace.

I'm not going to be fazed by your insults, either. You don’t know what they did to me. How many years have you been holding a grudge against me for being traumatized? You can block this account at any time.

Where was I when BB recently admitted to being abusive previously and has spoken a lot about self improvement and recovery?  Do I just wanna focus on the bad, or actually do full research of things that happened since this blog's hiatus?

I have not been a member of the fanmily for years. I don’t follow them anywhere. I don’t watch any of their content. Somebody just contacted me to tell me that drama was going down on her twitter account about MR that they thought I should be aware of. Many others have messaged me about it too. I’m actually pretty disappointed that nobody thought IBB’s videos on her mental health and abusive past were something that I should be aware of, too. I’m actually very proud of her for working on herself, and I wish her all the best in her efforts.

Honestly, I’m not interested in catching up on all of the content I missed in the last several years. I didn’t know the thing you’re talking about existed until right now, and perhaps I’ll give it a watch sometime. However, this current drama regarding her is about MR & SN. She still says that all accusations against SN are fake. Being upset about that doesn’t seem like beating a dead horse, to me, considering the circumstances.

I can’t say I’m not here to hate or that this blog is harmful to my mental health while also making a twitter account for it.

The reason I made a twitter account for it was answered in a previous ask:  “I [saw] some people linking to this blog when I was reading their new threads though, and that inspired me to make a twitter account so that still-unaddressed allegations could be more accessible to twitter users, especially the band who specifically asked for people to contact them about their pain.”

I am currently choosing to risk my own mental health by temporarily reviving this blog to deal with something that has been swept under the rug for far too long.

I haven’t promoted any blogs, posts, or accounts under any of their tweets. I also didn’t ask anyone else to. I unfortunately did not get the opportunity to do that.

I wouldn’t be happy if somebody made a blog to target me and encourage others to target me either, but we’re not “targeting” anyone. We’re just trying to get them to listen and stop pretending that some things never happened.

Our goal is to spread awareness so people can stay safe, and get them to hold themselves accountable for their actions. They have yet to do so.

Their whimsical characters, worlds, lore, and music helped me at a time, too. Though, even with the light they bring into many of our lives, the darkness they also bring should not have been deemed insignificant and ignored for as long as it has been. Such harm, even if truly unintentional, needs to be handled appropriately - apologies given, reparations made, and consequences accepted.

At the moment, much of their fans’ pain is still being denied and regarded as rumors, which causes more hurt even still. 

The band should have been held accountable in the beginning, but the next best time is now.

It is, but I get where that disrespect may come from. I was in the fandom for several years, and I saw a lot of bullying from both past and current fans, sometimes anonymously, sometimes threatening, and sometimes without context as to why it was happening at all. 

For a blog like this one to pop up one day and start saying upsetting things, it’s understandable that many would brush us off as another hate blog. It isn’t what we’re trying to be, though, and if anyone else is reading this who is questioning us, distrustful, suspicious - you are allowed. It’s okay, we understand. I know way back we used to post some pretty hateful memes, because the hurt we experienced was fresh and we were angry. It was inappropriate and counterproductive of our cause, and I apologize for that. This wasn’t and isn’t the place for such things.

If anyone takes just one thing from all the stories posted here, let it be awareness. Just knowing can help you spot red flags in your own interactions with them and could very well benefit your safety and mental health in the long run.

My team and I had always been selective with what was posted on this blog in the past - there are a lot of fanmily members who are aware of this blog, who are very interested in discrediting the stories of victims because they believe that this information “ruins [the band] for them”. A very easy way to discredit victims’ stories is to make up and submit fake ones so that people who realize a story is untrue will have reason in their minds to question and disbelieve the rest, as well. We received a very high quantity of hate anons and troll submissions when we first started, and had no other option but to vet submissions if we wanted to remain true to our goal of honesty and helping others stay safe.

I am personally a victim as well, which is why this account was created. This blog isn’t for hate, it’s for justice for their victims and peace and safety for current fans of the band. Most of us have yet to get justice, and the fandom is still not safe. You all can block us, blacklist, whatever makes you feel best, that’s fine. No hard feelings.

I was “conveniently AFK” for quite a while for a number of reasons including people losing interest and submissions slowing to a halt, hateful, ignorant, and accusatory messages that were exhausting to comb through, and my own therapist advising me to step down from moderating this account for a while because it was becoming damaging to my mental health. Also, as far as I can tell, nothing has been rectified or investigated since we went on hiatus - as you can see on BB’s twitter, they are still claiming SN’s innocence. 

I do not, as you put it, “encourage a bandwagon of hate” or wish to “close off dialogue” but rather, I want to encourage dialogue. I suggested that people use BB’s open request for victims to “share their pain” on twitter to, together, confront her about the pain she and the rest of them have also caused, and get them to finally take responsibility for and admit to the harm they have done to so many people over so many years. She’s asking for people to share their pain, and this is a perfect opportunity to do just that.

I absolutely will continue to criticize them, because they still are deserving of being criticized. Terrible things are still happening to people around them. People are upset and hurt and she is still hiding the truth. The news of current drama reached me on my personal social media accounts despite me having everyone involved in the band blocked, so I logged back in here to share.

I think it’s important to recognize as well that this account is not being run by a any sort of professional anything, or any big powerful anonymous figure. We have always just been a small group of ex-fans who were hurt by a band that we loved very much, very badly. 

Your perception of this blog and our intent may not be entirely accurate, but that’s okay. Nobody has to like us, or believe us, or want us around. It would be nice, but we know we can’t force that to happen, knowing as a former member of the fandom, how the fandom operates regarding drama/hate/unpleasant truths.

But, believe it or not, we still care about you and your safety, anyway.
