For roommate i have no idea what the last chapter i read was so yeah I’ll probably start from the beginning. As in for roommates, I updated chapter 15 about 2 days ago :) I’m excited to see your reaction! I believe you already know where to find it, right? And yass girl! I feel you on so many levels. Every time I re-read a fic of mine, it’s like I completely forgot what in the world happened. It’s as if i don’t recall writing certain things . Yes, there is a twist in my story. I thought it was too much of a ‘basic-bitch-shares-a-room-with-a-virgin-dude” so I changed it to something CRAZY and I gotta I say, I am quite satisfied with the response it got. I had so much trouble trying to write Y/N’s personality back in 2016, but now I am sure at a 100 percent what i’m doing. 

i forgot to respond to the stuff you said about work in the last reblog but you were saying that it was crazy that i was working while at school. is that really that uncommon over there? i’ve heard from the usa members of the fam as well that that’s really unusual there too but in australia its kind of expected that you have a job when you’re 14 and up. like if you don’t have one then you’re behind and it’s frowned upon. it’s crazy all the differences i guess :))

OKAY ABOUT THE BLONDE. i went in and they said that in order to keep my hair healthy they have to do the blonde pieces at a time and over the course of a couple of visits. so at the moment it’s really just light brown with some lighter highlights. BUT IM GETTING THERE. i can send a photo anyway but don’t expect anything too great yet. the skintone thing is so difficult like i never know what to do when looking for colours to suit my skin tone. i’m fairly sure my perfect blonde is like an ashy blonde. warm colours don’t look great on my skin so it can’t be too yellow or orange. you should speak to your hairdresser about it! mine was so helpful she was talking about how the pigment of your eye colour can indicate what kind of shade you need and stuff like that. she really knew what she was talking about.

i haven’t started rereading it just yet because my schedule has been so hectic these past couple of days but today i’m giving myself a day off so i’ll try and start later on. i’m really keen to see what that TWIST is ughh. i love me a good plot twist. yeah i feel like it’s difficult to convey y/n’s personality in any story bc you can’t be too specific? i always try to not describe y/n too much so that it will actually feel more like the reader. like if you said y/n had black hair or something then all the blondes wouldn’t really feel included. or if you said she was shy then all the outgoing readers would be like ??? so it’s hard to try and make her realistic because you can’t give her a unique personality/appearance. but i’m interested to see where you went with that bc that’s something i still struggle with. it’s actually really crazy to go back to 2nd person again now that I’m back to writing. i keep accidentally writing in 1st or 3rd lmao i’m going to have to go through it five hundred times just to make sure i haven’t changed perspective over and over.

i actually know what you mean about that!! i’ve really felt that this year my brain’s not doing too well. i just seem to be so unbelievably forgetful and i don’t feel as ‘smart’ as i used to. not that i’ve ever thought of myself as really intelligent but i was far more confident in my intelligence before this year. i need the calculator to do the simplest maths at work now (no joke i got out the calculator to do 36 - 9 the other day and the customer ended up telling me the answer once he saw what i was doing). i totally know what you mean about the weird feeling when you’re stressed it’s like bugs are crawling all over you or something? stress is sooooo fun yay.

It’s not that it’s uncommon to work while being a student. It’s just that not most people do it. Most uni students do it because everyone is in debt ahaha  but I never really had any high school friends who worked when we were minors. I believe the main reason why is because most of the jobs require that you are over 18 years old where I live. I mean, if you want to work at Walmart, i bet it can work out for you if you’re a minor but if you ever try working at Sephora (makeup shop) or victoria secret, you need to be a legal adult.  

As in for your hair color, I’m so happy for you! It’s a great advice to dye hair gradually rather than doing it all at once, especially when it comes to bleaching! Your hair is already a light shade of brown so I doubt it would take many sessions before it actually turns blonde. It would take forever for my brown hair to turn blonde lmao.  With all the red undertones it has, I bet it would look orange at some point (which I want to avoid at all costs). I considered getting an ombre instead to see how damaging it could get? but I really don’t know what to do x) I’ll just have to schedule an appointment with a hair dresser to decide what in the world should happen to my hair. I never dyed my hair so I’m lowkey scared but i really really really LIKE REALLY want to be blonde and have fun! not that i’m not having fun as a brunette…but you know what they say, blondes have more fun! I also had silver in mind…
