BKK Shutdown day 2
I finally found out the actual meaning of ‘BKK shutdown’ - just take a look at this picture taken outside of Siam Paragon. On the right we have numerous tents, middle lie thousands of protestors (reading news and chilling, as though at home!) and on the left plenty of make shift shops selling everything, from undergarments to coconuts.
The second photo shows rows and rows of vehicles, and these are mostly make shift beds and even kitchen for the protestors camping here. We spotted an ambulance and I wonder whether they do stay during a crisis… 20,000 policemen have been dispersed all over the 7 major protest sites, and to be honest we came across way too little policemen.
