I'M VERY GLAD YOU ASKED! for me personally, I view haruka as intersex transfem butch (will explain the butch and intersex parts later)! while part of it is cuz I love the thought of lesbian transfem haruka I also do have a few personal thoughts on how it could work in canon, especially considering how his mother wanted a girl + his case with mirai/his victim

in terms of her victim, it's clear that haruka viewed her as everything he couldn't be— neurotypical, pitiable, smart (potentially), and most notably in this scenario, a girl. while I think it could play partially into the fact that her mother wanted a girl, I think it could also have to do with her own identity. this isn't to say haruka wouldn't have wanted to be a girl if her mom didn't want one, but I think it could've influenced it. he has his own hobbies and thoughts outside of his mom, and I think gender identity and the idea of being a girl instead could be one of those things she could consider. I won't lie a lot of my transfem haruka hc is just based on my person hcs of haruka but I do have some groundwork in canon for it...

AS FOR THE INTERSEX AND BUTCH PARTS... the intersex part is mainly just based on one specific post I saw (I don't remember who made it but I will edit this post if I find it and show everyone how beautiful it is) but in AKAAA, there are lots of butterflies shown in the mv. in combination with that, his outfit resembles the wings of an intersex butterfly, with mismatched wings.

I know some people get a bit weirded out when you say a character is both butch and transfem but hear me out... I think haruka could still be comfortable with presenting masc, but her gender can be more aligned with being a woman rather than a man. ofc in canon he's shown to be comfortable with presenting masc, but I think presenting fem is not out of the equation for her either :)
