I have been painting some more. I really enjoy the night. Until I dream of a horrible end.

My back yard. I saw this the other month. I had to paint it to remember it.

This is for fun. I love the eyes.

I don't know how to process my brother's death really. So I am painting. This isn't finished... but this is what my soul feels like.

My brother died in his sleep last night. My daughter was the one that found his body. She was visiting him and my grandmother, they lived together.

My daughter is coping just fine, she is a very emotionally intelligent and capable kid, even only nearing 9 years old.

He was only 2 years older than me. 39... Not even 40 yet and he is gone. Just like my mom. They both left me early. She died only 4 years ago.

I just want to scream the universe into nothingness. I want to lash out at forces beyond anyone's control. I want to rip the fabric of space and time apart I am so mad.

I miss him. I loved him. He was my brother.

He helped me and took care of me in his own ways after our mom died. Then the fucking chaos of the universe decides that, fuck this shit, you gotta go too. You can't have someone you can talk to whenever you need. You are now a fucking island.
