Can we talk about how Ever After High ironically despite looking more kid friendly and girly the Monster High has the more depressing and oppressive setting. Like don’t get me wrong Monster High’s world has issues too but here’s the thing at least Monster High has a sanctuary for the teens in the form of the school and in other places with people like them while Ever After High‘s world is inherently very hostile to rebels and anybody who doesn’t follow the status quo with there being no safe havens for them and unlike Monster High where progress has already been made, Ever After High is still in the process of changing it’s unfair system and world.

i genuinely feel like ever after high was the blue print for a lot of doll lines/doll stories and is never given the recognition it deserves
