     Coming into a garden party, covered in dirt and grass stained knees was by definition a royal party faux-pas. However, in his defense he thought the event started at 3:30pm , not 2:30pm. Loose attempts at flower crowns already wilting atop their head, Bambi could already sense the judgmental looks awaiting them from the prim and proper guests. As they tip toped, avoiding familiar faces behind catering staff and potted plants, they creeped until reaching the glass doors. They almost made it through totally undetected until Bambi miscalculated a turn and bumped straight into a cater waiter and hors d'oeuvre plater. The noise commanding the attention of the crowd and causing them to freeze mid step. â No. . .  â he answered despite the horrid expression on the guests face and his own embarrassment. â But letâs just keep it moving. â He suggested, nudging her towards the stairs so they could get out of their filthy clothes once and for all.
â Hey, hold still â â he warned in a whisper as he approached with a jar in hand. Crouching as he prayed upon his target, resting upon the body of an unknowing individual. Before the little shit could get away once again, Bambi dropped his container as he sprung towards them, cupping his hands over the creature. Finally. As a child, Buckley or Bambi as his mother lovingly called him, was always a happy and carefree child. Full of curiosity and wonder, he would always get himself into trouble around the island. Yet everyone knew him to be a kind young boy who brought joy with him everywhere he went. The forest was Bambiâs second home. His backyard was an open space into the islandâs rich ecosystem and he spent hours getting lost in itâs wonder. Â
When Bambi was eight, his mother was was murdered in a home invasion. They were both cuddling, reading in bed together when they heard a strange noise coming from the front door. His father wasnât supposed to be home for another two weeks when strange voices soon shocked and soon revealed that this was an invasion. His mother hurried to call the police only for the invaders to fatality shot her. Since then, Bambi had struggled with night terrors and severe anxiety.Â
Bambi was never really the same after that. He began to retreat into himself and grew much more jaded. Despite all the counciling, he blames himself for his motherâs death. His mother had been his best friend and the only one who he felt truly understood him. The two were extremely similar, soft spoken and creative. Appreciative of the literature and poetry and a great fondness for nature. All things his father loved about his dearest Fawna, now all the traits he sees in his son are far too painful. The two have a very strained relationship and struggle to even make simple dinner conversation.
His failure and mistakes plague him, constantly second-guessing the correct course of action - Bambi never wants to let anyone down again. He knows what his father sees him as - weak, spineless, cowardly. All things Bambi sees in himself. He longs to be more than what he is, someone who his father can be proud of, someone who he can look in the mirror and not pick apart. While he wishes his father would be the parent he misses, he knows that those late night at the office are just another excuse so he doesnât have to deal with him.

Best friend : These two met as soon on one of Bambiâs many expeditions in the forest. I imagine these two as childhood friend, but they donât necessarily have to - either way, the two just hit it off. They bring out the best in each other, his friend pushes Bambi to be more confident while Bambi brings the other one down to earth.Â
Ex-girlfriend : This person taught Bambi how to trust and love another person again but they also taught him his first lesson in heartbreak. I can see them being on good terms butâŠ..bad terms would be v fun, or good terms but messy break up mayhaps??
