Watching another Tinker Bell movie. Miriam was very excited that tonight was her favorite one āthe one with the girl and the dadā also called The Great Fairy Rescue. Miriam is 100% Daddy is cooler than Mom but lately sheās been snuggly with me at bedtime and itās so sweet! She is so excited for the new baby and she has a countdown for my due date. We told her that the date could change but she doesnāt care she just likes to see the number get smaller. She is also very annoyed that she canāt go with me to my appointments because they donāt allow kids in the ultrasounds. I told her Iād still get her a cake pop so that made it a little better.
Weekly appointments with NST and ultrasounds. Stupid kidneys! Thankful for a healthy baby and super annoyed with my stupid kidneys!
Ingrid asked to watch a Tinker Bell movie,so we picked The Secret of the Wings. My favorite one! And then Miriam heard the song and she came running in. So they were both snuggled up with me. Now the movie is over and Miriam went to her bed to sleep but before Ingrid went to sleep she asked if she could sleep with us. I canāt put her in her bed now because sheās too cute and asleep.
She was up when Kenny got up for today. She was following him around the house talking to him. It was cute but I thought for sure she was going to be up for the day and I wasnāt trying to be up at 5:30. He gave her some water in her owala and she climbed back in bed. I asked if she wanted to watch toons and she said āCan you lift up your arm? Can you snuggle me? I still sleepy.ā She fell asleep and slept until her normal 7:00 wake up time.
Itās raining and gross here today. So the kids are building forts and playing in the basement. My sister is coming after lunch and we are going to take the kids to treat time at Evelynās work this evening.
Still havenāt passed this kidney stone and I donāt think Iām going to. I think Iām going to either end up back in the hospital or need a stent or surgery after the baby is born. But the pain is manageable with just one of my pain pills at bedtime so Iām taking that as a win. Iām going to have to get compression socks because my feet/legs are swelling from all the IV fluids I had while was in the hospital. I cannot be sitting around with my feet up all day. Itās making me crazy. I got a Walmart delivery order for them today so I shouldnāt have to wait too long.

I didnāt need the surgery and was able to go home yesterday evening. Now hopefully I can pass this stone and have a few easy weeks before the baby comes.
On Monday at 1:30am I was woken up with the worst pain in my left side. I knew it was my kidney. I got a hot shower and tried to relax but by 3:00am Kenny said he was taking me to the ER. They did ultrasound and couldnāt see the actual stone but they could see my kidney was swollen and blocked. So they gave me a small dose of morphine and it barely touched the pain. They gave me another dose and that dulled it and by the third I was finally able to calm down. My blood pressure was so high because of how bad it hurt. My OB and urologist came in and said they were admitting me for pain control and fluids and if I donāt pass it by Tuesday morning they were going to have to do surgery to remove it. Itās currently 2:00am on Tuesday and I havenāt passed anything.
Then they put my IV in my left elbow pit as the nurse called it and it was miserable. If I moved it would set off the alarm and they would have to reset the pump. I asked if they could move it because I wasnāt really using my arm because of it and it was starting to swell. The one nurse said no it was fine. My finger kept getting bigger and I kept trying to get my ring off. I should have taken it off sooner but honestly I donāt feel my ring anymore Iāve worn it for 17 years. And Iāve never had any issues with swelling. So fast forward to me hitting the call button so many times asking for a new nurse that would 1.move the iv and 2. help me get my ring off. They tried the floss trick but it was too late so they ended up having to cut off my ring. I was so upset because earlier this year I was buying wood from Loweās and unknowingly bent my engagement ring prongs and lost my diamond. So my whole wedding set that Kenny proposed with and I was married with is ruined. They cut my ring so hopefully we can get that fixed and I can get a new diamond but itās still upsetting.
Iām so ready for this to be over. If I donāt get my pain medicine every two hours my pain goes from a 3 back to a 10 and Iām throwing up. Thankful for the awesome nurses that have been on top of it when I know they have a so many other things and patients. I really hate pressing my call button. I apologized for doing it so many times over my finger but they said it never should have came to that.
The baby is also doing fine. I have to get a daily NST and I am feeling lots of kicks and movement. So they arenāt worried about him/her.
I just want to go home!
We finally decided on a car seat for the baby. My friend who just had a baby told me the Graco one she has is super lightweight and easy to get in and out of the car so we went with that one. I have my last every two weeks OB appointment August 11 then I start every week. I hate the weekly ones. Such a waste of time. I feel the baby move my blood pressure is fine and I have zero symptoms Iām not supposed to have. Let me phone it inš but for real itās getting to be the time where the baby can come anytime and I am so ready!
So we lease a piece of property right above our house where we originally kept our cow. We added another 2 acres across the field in front of our house so we can rotate the cow. Well the man that owns the first piece is getting divorced and selling the house/property. Well his ex wife is. Kenny asked her if we could buy the piece we have been using. She said she would think about it and get back to him. She got back to him yesterday. Now this piece is barely over an acre. The number she gave is insane! $20,000! That is crazy! I thought Kenny was joking when he told me! We were thinking like $7,000. He told her to just list it with the house because that is not happening. So we talked to the guy who has the second piece of property and we are just going to make her area bigger. Possibly 3-4 acres added to the 2. I still canāt believe that is the number they came up with!
I had the worst migraine Iāve ever had the last two days. It got so bad last night I could barely walk and couldnāt keep my eyes open. I got a shower in the dark and went to bed at 7:30. I had to put one of the kids fever strips on my forehead and had ice packs all around my head. I was worried it was pre eclampsia for a bit but then I realized I had none of the other symptoms. I canāt stand when people say/said wait until you have a migraine and a baby! You know Iād rather have a migraine with a baby because then I can take the medicine I need that actually helps. Tylenol does absolutely nothing. Kenny made me water-coconut water-and salt and that helped but today I am exhausted and still have a small headache. I had my OB appointment this morning and my blood pressure was perfect so Iām hoping this little headache goes away and doesnāt turn into another migraine.

Our yard looks like Rocco exploded all over it. We brushed him but heās still shedding like crazy. We pick it up in the evening because it makes me crazy haha but itās back in the morning because heās roams the yard all night and rolls around. The last few days have been cooler so he hasnāt been so dramatic I mean I get it I canāt breathe when itās 90Ā° either but heās such a baby.
I am so ready to have a baby to snuggle and be tired from having a newborn!
Ingrid loves ducks! We got her 6 call ducks today and she was so excited! The lady gave us this one that just hatched yesterday so she was a lot smaller so she needed her own box. Ingrid named her Pickle. She just came in our room and said ācan I please go tell my duckies goodnight?ā So Kenny took her to see them and she was telling them all goodnight. Her little face is so adorable I love how much she loves ducks! Bonus cute little AJ smiling š„°
This poor kid! She is going through it recently! No idea whatās going on now. Nothing new was used or given to her. She wasnāt around anyone. And wasnāt in any new area. I gave her allergy medicine and put anti itch cream on it. So thankful for a pediatrician that texts! She said to keep an eye on it and watch if it spreads to her eyes and watch her breathing. Sheās laying in her bed in the AC since itās already so hot out when she was sweating it was burning. Poor baby canāt catch a break!
Well it fell off. But it was still open and a little deep. So I text her pediatrician and she said to put Neosporin on it and put the strips on it. Kenny did and now sheās very happy. She said itās not itchy anymore either.
Had my OB appointment today and my blood work before. Waiting to see if my iron levels went up. My doctor is supposed to call me this evening to let me know and see what we have to do as far as the infusions or just keep taking the tablets. I think the baby is going to come the 26 of August. No reason why just a feeling. I keep telling myself Iām going to go over so if I donāt Iāll be surprisedš

We moved Ruthie to her new pasture today. She went in the trailer easy. Kenny and I were both shocked! We can see her from our front porch our house is behind Kenny to the left about 150 yards. So thatās nice. This pasture is 2 acres and should last her the rest of summer and give the pasture above our house time to grow for the fall when we move her back.
Ingrid and Miriam begged us to put more duck eggs in the incubator and 2 hatched today. We have 3 more eggs in there that have pipped so hopefully they will be hatched soon. Miriam named hers Poptart and Ingrid named hers Cornchip. Ingrid wants to name her next one Acorn and Miriam isnāt sure about hers yet.
We got Evelyn tickets to see Just In Time with Jeremy Jordan! We told her today and she was so surprised! Itās August 18 so we plan to go to NY that morning check into our hotel and get ready to see the show. The next day sheās already making plans for what she wants to do. She wants to go to Time Square,The Jelly Cat Store,M&Ms store and she wants to try to go to Cornelia Street too. Our hotel is 10 minutes from everything so it should all be pretty easy to do minus the last part thatās a little farther but we can just do that when we are leaving the city. She is obsessed with Newsies and Jeremy Jordan is her absolute favorite. I havenāt told her yet but I hope we can go to the stage door after the show and she can meet him! She would absolutely freak out!
