Brown Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies Oh man, these are so good! I just made a batch of dough last night and I’ve already eaten 7 cookies! They definitely elevate the traditional chocolate chip cookie with the browning of the butter. If you would like some, you can order them frozen from $0.75/cookie or baked for $1/cookie. I have these in the freezer, so they’re ready to go, but if they’re something else you would like to order on my page or would like to make a custom order, please put in these requests at least three days ahead of time. However, if you want to make this on your own, here is the recipe: Ingredients: 2 ½ sticks butter (375 g) 2 cups flour 1 tablespoon cornflour 1 teaspoon baking soda 1 cup brown sugar 1 cup caster or white sugar 1 egg & 2 egg yolks 2 tablespoons vanilla 2 cups chocolate (I did a mixture of 1 cup dark chocolate chips and 2 bars of Lindt Chocolate – one milk one dark) Instructions: 1. Start by browning the butter in a pan. Once brown, move to a bowl to allow it to cool completely. 2. Mix flour, cornflour, and baking soda into a bowl. Set side. 3. Cream together sugars and cooled brown butter. Add it eggs and egg yolks. 4. Mix in flour mixture, be careful not to overmix. 5. Mix in vanilla and chocolate. 6. Portion out dough into tablespoons and freeze until hard. You can then either store it bake at 160 C (320 F) for 8-12 minutes.
