Bae

I’ve decided I will no longer spend another minute hating my body. As of today, I will only look at myself in the mirror and think positive thoughts. This is my skin, my bones, my body, my life. And it is the only one I am going to get. In the past, I decided to stay away from the negativity of others to make myself happier. I didn’t realize that the negativity I reflect upon myself was just as bad, if not worse than them. I could escape them, but I cannot escape myself. I’ve had enough. I’m putting my foot down. I’m drowning the part of myself that has constantly screamed at me in the back of my mind, telling me I am not enough. I am drowning those demons. I will love myself, and I will be happy. That is a promise.
