What Makes Him Different From the Movie's Once-ler

Unlike the Once-ler from the original movie, the Red King always had selfish intentions from the very beginning. He manipulated the animals by bribing them with marshmallows and never truly listened to the Lorax's warnings.

In this alternate version, he was far more rude and hostile from the start. He also developed a deep grudge against the Lorax after the guardian of the forest threw his bed into the river while he was sleeping.

Today, the Red King lives isolated inside his massive factory. The people from the small town near the Truffula Valley fear him and avoid speaking his former name. Over time, "Once-ler" became a forgotten title, and now he is known only as the Red King.
