G’day Anon,
I’ve been hearing a lot of similar things about Cassandra Clare lately. To be honest, when I started this blog, I had absolutely no idea what people were saying about CC, I was only doing it for fun. After all, I was a fan of the story - never particularly a fan of the way she wrote, but I loved the characters and their adventures nonetheless.
Until people started bringing things like this up to me. Now, I haven’t been on this blog for God knows how fucking long, ever since people started abusing me for “supporting” someone like CC. Mind you, at that point in time, I’d seen no proof of the claims people were making against her and thought nothing of it.
Until, I did. Someone sent me a link to an article of some description that went into depth about CC’s nasty little habit of plagiarism. Still, having been a fan of the books for almost four years, I continued to doubt the source - after all, in the world today, how easy is it to fake an article like that? At least, that’s what I kept telling myself. I was blind to it all, because I didn’t want to loose the magic in the stories by condemning CC.
But now that more and more people have been bringing it to my attention, I feel like there must be something more to this whole thing than I’ve let myself believe. So, in that case, Anon, I ask you to do me a favour. Supply me with links, pics, anything you can get your hands on. I’ll not judge you if you come off Anon, of course. So don’t be afraid of that, man. I seriously just want to understand in a little more depth what it is CC has done.
Until then, well... I guess this blog is probably going to be deleted. Who fucking knows, hey?
- Jesi
