Made an in-browser notes thingy - check this out here!

I got pissed that i have to use a notepad of some sort and either create/delete files all the time and i don't want to use any dedicated notekeeping software, so i wrote this thing in a couple hours. Now there's quick easy persistent notes in the browser. Seems to work :D

It's self-contained so you can download the .html file and put it on your website, but even if you don't, it uses browser's localstorage which is never transmitted anywhere, so your text is always yours even if you use the one deployed at my website. Colours are defined as variables so you can style it to your liking easily if you redeploy it, too!

i think it’s a good idea to make a separate individual post that isn’t a bunch of paragraphs but yeah basically my situation is: ive lived under a slumlord for years, he filed to evict me and my disabled mom who I take care of after we tested for mold and every room tested positive, he was convinced by legal aid to drop the eviction and give us until the end of the month to leave and we both have apartments in different cities lined up but not nearly enough money to cover the costs of moving including: rent and down payments, rental trucks and gas. (Also just other costs of living at the same time). At least 3 instances of military aircraft violating safe airspace, each one met with "no discipline, carry on, patriots".

You know why he's doing this, right? It's to make people accustomed to low flying military aircraft. He's also testing the water, seeing which mayors and governors object to it. And we learned from this video that because of a 1999 study, to this day, there's a black correction factor for the creatinin levels in black people's kidneys, meaning we're less likely to recieve a kidney transplant if needed.

So if you go to a doctor, feel you aren't getting proper treatment or they refuse the treatment you've requested, say to them the following:

I will need you to document on record that you are refusing the treatment (or medicine) I've requested, and the reason you are doing so."

This works. I have used it in other situations. If medical staff have to document and take responsibility and be on the hook legally for doing shady shit they behave much differently.

If you weren’t already going to spread this advice because black women are at risk, then spread it because it’s applicable to everyone else as well, including you reading this.

People treat Toby Fox as the end-all/be-all of musical inspiration in this decade of the century. He's like the Beatles a bit in this way. Everyone is convinced that his music was your sole source of inspiration and when you tell them they're wrong, they tell you you're lying and point out "oh, this bit and this bit are exactly like such and such Deltarune song" or whatever. For years, within my own family, my piano skills were compared against 3 other relatives who also played the piano, and it was like I had to prepare a 5 paragraph essay on how this song or that song WASN'T impacted by these 3 relatives.

I've never played Deltarune or Undertale. At this stage, I don't want to. For that matter, I've never listened to the Beatles, either. My website has a list of the composers who DID influence me, and you can't find Toby Fox or Paul McCartney on there. But I guess that's just not good enough for some people.
