Soon before graduation I found out I would be working at my dream school. Just a few days ago I finally found out I will be teaching 2nd grade. I am a little bit concerned because I have never worked closely with 2nd grade (I truly have no idea what that age group is like since I worked mostly with K and 1st), but I am so excited for all the new challenges. I have already been assigned a classroom and have began packing up all of my teaching supplies (it is more exciting than it sounds). It will be a long summer ahead full of research and confidence building. I cannot wait to begin!
