Any time I talk to Boko Imama, it's clear that he's a pretty important guy to have around in a season like this where the team might struggle. Not just because of what he does on the ice -- though that's important too, last season Rutger McGroarty told me there was a clear difference in how the young guys were treated by opponents when Imama was around vs. when he wasn't around. But it's really just his attitude. The young guys, the vets, everyone loves him, and seeing how grateful Imama is every day to be in the NHL is infectious.
