Some quick and dirty preliminary shots of my planned record shop.

Would have been happier if these white arches (i think they were converted from Sims 4?) would come in a few more worn colors (especially both arches coming in the same worn colors...or at least something that fits)

Hey gang, i´m looking for some stuff for Sims 2 to a vinyl store, and so i need some shelves (decorative and functional for business are fine) with record covers on it and pretty much everything you need to build a record shop. Maybe some turntables and recordplayers as well.

I know i know, this iconic building has probably been done to death by the Sims community....at least let me have a crack at it before y´all are getting out the torches and pitchforks :D

The building stands on a large and mostly empty lot (i mean, so is the original) and stands on a 5x5 residential lot.

The house is sparsely furnished to mirror the furniture of the real life version.

Speaking of mirrors...check the windows...yes, that´s not photoshop, the windows are actually mirroring what´s around. I cheated by putting up transparent mirror pieces on both sides of each window...i mean with big panes of glass like that, they better shine.

Okay gang, i need your help with stuff. Currently i need two things, a set of wall height modular windows and some steel girders that come in several colors (including white), sorta like this one from Guatla:

But without the horizontal bit. It would be cool if it´s a column, but purely decorative is good too.

I know, this sounds like super specific stuff so i guess you´re wondering what i need it for.....well, i´m trying to build a version of the infamous Farnsworth house.

Any help would be apprechiated.

I have this little weirdo sitting around in a neighborhood. Not sure when or why i build this because modern/contemporary is an architecture style i absolutely dislike. Maybe someone challenged me….sorta like "hey i bet you can´t build modern stuff"…well, suck on a lemon unknown stranger because i did one. It is sparsely furnished, has an unfinished but usable basement and as you can see…not much room for a garden because Mister Smartypants McMe decided to start building on a 1x2 lot

So, would be something you peeps would be interested in? Then i might finish it up (putting in some heating/AC) and some minimal effort on the basement) and would share it in a few days or so.

So, i´ve finished and refined another one of my vintage bungalows. This time it´s based on a low slung house from the 1920 Bennet Homes catalog. Ready cut houses were already a big thing back then and folks could pic from a large range of different homes.

This house was carefully preserved, painted in a vibrant color coice and has cozy rooms and the backyard is a large canvas for your imagination (that´s probably realtor speak for "crammed rooms and the garden is a weed covered mess")

My newest piece of enjoyment and fun is this little guy, a 1/16 scale rc car. It's obviously modeled after those iconic small Japanese trucks and it's such a riot to zip around the apartment or outside. Despite its miniscule proportions, this thing is quite rugged and tough for an affordable little rc car. It even comes with proportional speed and steering, which means it's not just one speed, but the speed can be carefully controlled same with steering angle.

I have a random roof stuck on a lot which i can´t get rid off. For some weird reason i can recolor it with the "recolor roof tool" but i can´t delete it.

Does anyone have a working link for the Sims 2 Collection Creator?

So, i´ve decided to finish some things before building new stuff. I guess i´m starting with this lovely simple yet elegant foursquare.

Based on a floorplan from the 1916 Sterling House catalog, i´ve build this small but comfortable house for a small family. It is filled with original architectural features, modern plumbing, heating/AC, a spacious backyard,fully build basement and a parkingspot for a car.

Yay, after abandoning TS2 for so long i thought i might give it a whirl again....looks like everything is still well and in order......except for my modular stairs.

Crap, i must have forgotten to back up my modular stairs file. They mightn still be on my old HDD from my old rig, but i must find it first. Is there an easier way to track down which modular stairs i have? Like maybe with SimPe or something (or shooting into the dark and look for everything in the CC folder that has "stair" in it, hoping i can track down the creator and know where to look for the DL link)
