You don’t need a degree in engineering to design rollercoasters, you need a degree in psychology.

Something I never set out to involve myself in by tracking the ‘rollercoaster’ tag was the emotional problems of strangers. You know… “Emotional rollercoasters” “My life is a rollercoaster” I didn’t intend to seek such posts out, but after months of tracking the tag I’ve discovered more often than not it’s because they have a complete dickhead of a romantic partner.  I find this all quite interesting because I’ve never felt that about anything in my life. I did date a guy for (literally) two weeks which was very unpleasant as he just wasn’t into me at all, and I guess that’s as close as I got to the ‘emotional rollercoaster’. On the flip side, there are also stories where the boyfriend and girlfriend go to a park together and it’s all wonderful, they push the boundaries in terms of rides, and hopefully all sorts of other naughty things when they get home. There’s also people comparing their activity feed to a rollercoaster, which I always do as well.
