Growing up in the UK during the 1970s and 1980s, nudity was a delicate subject — intellect came first, modesty second, and anything else was quietly swept aside. I spent decades cultivating my mind, covering up, and never daring to bare. Now, at 64, as a mature model, my attitude has spun around completely. What once felt forbidden is now a celebration of self-expression, confidence, and honesty. Each photo is a little act of defiance, a nod to my younger self who thought she had to hide. I want you to know that it’s never too late to embrace change or to find joy in your own skin. Here’s a tanka to mark this turning point:

Full Circle, Uncovered

Youth hid mind and skin,

Years unwrapped, layers revealed—

Brave in nakedness,

Self-acceptance shining out,

Openness blooms, at last.

Morning, my lovelies! Today finds me arms akimbo, stretching skywards on Tumblr — letting it all hang free for your viewing pleasure. At 64, yes, I sometimes fret about my curves and that scraggy old neck, but this is the honest deal: a model, a mischief-maker, and your friendly village organiser. Between cheeky photo shoots, helping at library book groups, and wrangling roses, I dare to be seen — curves, quirks, and all. If my display tickles your fancy (especially if you’re partial to a bit of British plumpness!), take a good look, smile, do what you need to, and then carry on with your day. Now, a little poetry:

Arms Wide, Spring High

Stretching upwards tall,

Shameless, wrinkles greet the sun—

Village life on show,

Curves, laughter, mingling free now,

Reflecting on my old days as a teacher and a lecturer, I learnt the importance of being clear, concise, and friendly — with a warm smile, always. That knack for explaining things simply, sprinkled with genuine warmth, has travelled with me into every job I’ve ever done. Whether I’m wrangling roses or orchestrating cheeky photoshoots, it’s all about sharing as much as you can with care, kindness, and good humour. And to illuminate and shed light on whatever subject you're sharing. Teaching taught me that a welcoming approach opens doors, and I still strive to bring that same spirit to everything I do.
