Animal regresses to about the age he was when Floyd first found him

He's both an age regressor and a pet regressor

His safe space is a dog crate that the band set up for him with blankets draped on ghe outside to make it a little more cozy. Originally they gave him pillows and blankets but when they came back, they found he had removed all of them and instead filled his cage with stolen items like T-shirts and blankets taken from their beds. They couldn't be upset and just let him keep it all

He's a little thief. He doesn't really mean to, it's not malicious, but if someone loses something they know to check Animal's cage first because he likes to make off with their belongings sometimes. If it's shiny, it's his, if it's colorful, it's his, and if it smells like the band, it's his.

Bunnies!!!! Animal LOVES bunnies and has a stuffed bunny and bunny pajamas. He actually takes pretty good care of his bunny stuffy and doesnt chew on it or tear it up. It did rip in a few spots just from years of wear and tear but Floyd always sews it back up. The fabric is faded, ths body is warped, and the glass eyes have long since been replaced by buttons, but it just shows how well loved it is

Floyd is his main caregiver, like he's always been, but the rest of the band helps out too. They all love Animal and are always there for him

Floyd takes care of all his basic needs like food, snacks, naptime, etc. He usually gets him dog toys, but specifically the ones that are built super durable for power-biters because Animal will destroy it

Dr. Teeth is kinda like the 'fun uncle.' He makes up songs for Animal, takes him on walks, sneaks him little treats, and plays with him. I think Teeth is the kind of caretaker to tease his little and have fun with him by being play-mean, and always grins when he hears Animal giggle at it

Janice is probably one of the only caregivers he's actively good and well behaved for. She's also the only one who gets a title, everyone else is just called by their name, but Janice has been promoted to Mama. She gives him scratches, kisses, and holds him in her lap when they're on the couch or in the van.

Along with Floyd, Janice will also help him with Animal's care, and she's even in charge of bath time, because again, she's the only one he'll behave for.

His relationship with Lips is a little harder to explain. You know how sometimes your parents will have a friend, but they're also friendly to you and play with you? That's Lips. He's not necessarily a caregiver in any way, but he does still love Animal and will engage and play with him. It's usually rough-housing and wrestling

Lips never wants to overstep or undermine Animal's caretakers, so it's always, "Let's go find your mama," or "Did you ask Floyd first?"

Zoot isn't a caretaker but he is great for naptime. He's always sleeping, so if Floyd needs Animal to settle down for a nap, he'll usually just sit in a room where Zoot's sleeping. Animal doesn't want to wake him so, he stays quiet and calm, which leads to him getting sleepier, then getting rocked to sleep by Floyd.

Animal plays HARD and always has bruises and bandaids on him

He eats a lot so the band always has snacks on hand for their hungry hungry baby

It's hard to get him to sit still unless you're petting him and scratching under his chin

He likes hard, aggressive petting, it makes him happy. Like how you'd pet a dog with both hands and shake their ears around. But if you want him calmed down, you gotta be gentle.

He's a biter but he doesn't mean to be. Floyd has had to sit him in time-out a couple times for biting, but never too long. He always makes sure they're in the same room so Animal can see him still, and it's only for a few minutes. Animal always apologizes and Floyd always finds something else they can use to redirect Animal's destructive urges, like ripping up cardboard boxes instead, or using his chew toys.

Bonus: Floyd loves Animal so much already as he is, but he especially loves when Animal regresses because it reminds him of when Animal was that small little baby he found on his doorstep and adopted all those years ago. He loves getting to take care of him like that again.
