Can’t wait to wear it but also a little embarrassed because it shows so much I’m not used to that. I need to learn to sew so I can make my own cosplay.

AN: I actually like how this one turned out. For the first time I didn't rewrite it a million times. Hope you enjoy. I may add more to these stories.

You, Mikasa, and Eren are sprawled out on the loungers by the pool, sun warm on your skin, when you hear some of the girl's gasp. You sit up, squinting from the glare of the sun, trying to see what the commotion was. Then you spot him, a new guy, tall and broad-shouldered, with familiar ash brown hair that immediately tugs at something deep in your memory. Before you even realize it, you're on your feet, leaving Mikasa and Eren exchanging puzzled glances as you move.
He's already smiling, a big, open grin that you'd know anywhere. You barely slow down before you're wrapped up in his arms. "Jean," you breathe, arms around his neck. He squeezes you in a way that hasn't changed at all, then gently sets you back on your feet, holding your hands keeping you close.
"It's been forever," he says.
"I know. I missed you." You're both grinning, but you can feel the eyes on you from every direction. Conversations have stopped.
Reiner's the first to break the silence. "You two know each other?"
You and Jean nod in perfect sync. "We met back in high school," you explain, glancing at Jean. "He moved away right before graduation."
The memory feels startlingly fresh. Jean had shown up halfway through junior year. His mother's job had them bouncing from city to city, country to country. You can't remember the exact moment you became close, but suddenly he was in every part of your life. At some point you began dating, but then, just before graduation, came the news, he and his mother were heading back to France. You knew there was no point begging your parents for a ticket to visit. The two of you drifted apart, the slow, inevitable fading that comes with distance. You got busy with applying to colleges and then moving onto the dorms, classes, you started a new life with new friends. Still, you kept his photos, memories of your first boyfriend never fading no matter how much time passed.
Jean introduces himself with the easy charm you remember, and the girls can't stop staring. It was always like this, someone in school was always crushing on him, at least until they got to know the cocky and combative side he rarely hid. Coming from money and it just being him and his mom, he'd gotten used to getting his way. But it seems he's changed. There's a quiet confidence in the way he carries himself now, less of that arrogant energy, more relaxed, even a bit unpolished. Yes, you dated him during that faze of his life, but you were young and brushed it off most of the time because he was sweet to you. If you met him once you reached your twenties and he acted like that, you would have not given him any of your time.
Mikasa leans in, her voice low. "Anyone here you're interested in?" She's noticed it, the way Jean's gaze flicks to you when he thinks no one's looking.
Everyone is waiting for his answer. The girls try to hide their hopeful smiles, the boys suddenly tense. Jean laughs, nervous, and looks straight at you. "Y/n," he says softly.
You give him a shy smile. Later, when the attention drifts elsewhere, you turn to him. "I can show you around, if you want?"
He nods, and you take his hand. He tugs you up from your spot, leading the way into the house. You show him the layout, pausing at the bedrooms. You push the door open, the familiar scent of laundry and sunscreen drifting out. "This is where we all sleep."
Jean scans the names on the dressers, stopping at yours. "Porco?" he asks, giving the dresser a nudge with his foot.
"That's who I'm coupled with," you explain, settling onto your bed. "But it's not really serious. He's more into Pieck."
Jean flops down beside you, making the mattress bounce. You automatically reach to pull off his shoes, an old habit, while he chuckles, knowing how much you hate shoes on the bed. Even if your feet are dangling off the side. He grabs your ankle and pulls you closer, you're laughing, trying to tug your dress back into place.
"Jean," you protest, but he doesn't let go.
"I missed you," he says, his thumb tracing lazy circles on your ankle.
Your heart stutters. With Porco, you never felt this, never this sudden, electric tension. You didn't feel like this around Jean when you were seventeen, but then, he didn't look like this back then, either. "I moved back to Trost two months ago," he tells you.
An hour goes by. You catch up, talking about everything and nothing, until Mikasa pokes her head in. "Everyone's heading upstairs," she says, glancing at Jean's hand resting on you before looking back at you.
You give Jean a quick smile. "We'll talk more tomorrow." You slip from his grasp, his hand dropping to the bed as you leave.
After your shower, you slip into the dressing room to put your things away. The quiet is broken by Eren's voice, he's perched at a vanity, Mikasa brushing her hair beside him, both watching you in the mirror.
"Jean's in love with you," Eren announces, deadpan.
You roll your eyes, trying not to smile. "Don't be ridiculous, Eren. We haven't seen each other in few years."
"So?" he shrugs.
Mikasa asks, "Did you guys date before?"
You pause, then nod. "Yeah. Almost a year."
Mikasa just nods, resuming her routine. All three of you go back to the bedroom, where Porco's already sprawled with his hands behind his head. You slip under the covers.
You and Porco have been a couple since day one, he stole you from Floch, who's long gone from the villa. It worked, in a friendly way, but it never really sparked. Once Pieck arrived and Porco's attention shifted, you both knew the next recoupling would probably split you up. And now, with Jean here you're sure you won't couple up again.
The next morning, some are eating breakfast or already at the gym. You're at the table with Mikasa and Pieck, quietly eating while Mikasa keeps sneaking glances at you.
"You should go talk to him," Pieck says gently. She's always been sweet, when she and Porco started talking, she came straight to you, not wanting you to be blindsided. She's one of the few you really trust here. Mikasa nods in agreement, carrying her plate to the sink.
"Go, I'll clean up," she says.
You find Jean on a workout bench, water bottle in hand, pretending to listen to Eren ramble about something you can't quite catch. He's distracted, eyes darting to you every chance he gets. When he sees you heading his way, he mutters a curse under his breath, but he's already smiling.
"Jean, can we talk?" You give him the smile you know he loves, the one that always made him melt.
He excuses himself and follows you to the daybeds under the shade. You settle in, Jean lying on his side, propped up on one elbow, watching you.
"Do you still have feelings for me?" you ask, straightforward as always.
Jean loved that about you. No games, just honesty. If you wanted to know something or felt a certain a way you say it. You were the one who asked him out in high school, telling him he was taking too long. He nods, eyes never leaving yours.
"Good," you reply, voice steady. "Because I do too."
Jean can't stop admiring you. He always thought you were so pretty. Ethereal looking. The light blue bikini compliments you, gold bracelets catching the sun every time you move your hand. He reaches out, holding your hand between his, thumb brushing over the two bracelets, one with your name, one with a thin vine pattern.
"You still wear these," he says quietly, playing with your fingers.
"Of course," you say, the words soft.
He remembers searching everywhere for a bracelet to match the one you wore all the time, finally finding the right one when you pointed it out at the mall. He bought it and gifted it to you on your birthday. At first your mom was telling you that you can't accept the gift because it was way too expensive and she wasn't sure if Jean's mom knew he bought it.
Jean was too caught up in the memory, he barely notices when you reach out, fingers threading through his hair. "Never thought you'd let it grow out. I like it."
His hair's nothing like how he used to have it, longer now, cut into a shaggy mullet. "My friends made fun of my old haircut until I changed it," he admits, grinning when you laugh.
He hooks his fingers behind your knees and pulls you closer, making you gasp. "Stop doing that," you scold, tugging at your bathing suit.
"You were too far away." He lays his head in your lap, grinning up at you. "My mom's going to love this."

You're lying on the daybed, fiddling with your water bottle, the straw clicking. Five days have passed since that first coupling. Right now, you're officially paired up with Jean. Nothing wrong with Jean, he's funny, easy to talk to, and you both hit it off in those first days. But your attention has been on someone else. You talked about it, both of you admitting there's someone else on your minds. No drama, just a quiet understanding that you'd each be happier with someone new.
Now, here you are again on the daybed, sunglasses pushed up holding your hair back, the sun warming your skin. Next to you sits the guy you can't stop thinking about, the blue eyed cutie, Armin. He's sitting beside your outstretched legs, his sandy blond hair swaying in the warm breeze, ears pink from the sun, or maybe from being this close to you.
"I'd like it if you picked me tonight. But what about Jean?" Armin's voice is soft.
You give him a reassuring smile. "He's into someone else too," you admit.
Later that night, everyone is gathered around the fire pit, four guys stand waiting to hear who will pick them. You can feel your heart thudding in your chest after you finish your little speech, "The boy I want to couple up with is Armin." He smiles, a bit shy, and takes the seat next to you. Your eyes meet Jeans and he give you a subtle wink.
After the recoupling and everyone done talking to their partners, the girl's dressing room is bustling despite it being so late. Hitch stands behind you, fingers weaving gently through your hair as you wipe away your makeup.
"You better be all over that man and show him how much you like him," she teases, grinning at you in the mirror. "He seems on the shyer side. I think he'll appreciate it."
You and Hitch became close quickly. You think her and Pieck would get along. "I know, I just don't want him to feel uncomfortable. Or like I'm moving too fast."
Hitch shrugs, still playing with your hair. "Everything moves fast in here. Don't miss your opportunity."
You walk into the bedroom, Hitch gives you a gentle pat on the butt before heading off to her bed. Armin's already at yours, rearranging the pillows on his side. You crawl under the covers, tossing him a curious glance. "What are you doing?"
He lies down, pushing a pillow aside. "I don't like sleeping with pillows," he admits, pulling the cover up.
You nod, settling in. You're close, but not too close, your head barely grazing his shoulder, your arm wrapping gently around his. You feel him tense for a moment, his body stiff beneath your touch. "Sorry," you whisper, starting to move away.
But his hand covers yours, stopping you. "No, it's fine." He keeps his hand over yours all night.
The curtains open slowly. Being closest to the large windows the sunlight reaches you first. You squint, stretching, and glance over. Armin's still asleep, the sun not disturbing his slumber whatsoever. He's on his stomach, right cheek squished into the mattress, hair messy, a tiny pout on his lips. You can't help but smile, brushing his hair back gently. He stirs, brows furrowing, and you pull your hand away, starting to sit up.
"Morning," he mumbles, his voice is raspy. "I can make us something if you're hungry." You lean down, press a quick kiss to his cheek, and hop out of bed before he can react.
When your done and head out to the kitchen, he's already plating the breakfast he made. He places your plate in front of you as you sit.
"Thank you," you say, grabbing your fork. Armin sits next to you, setting his right foot on the foot bar of your stool, leaning in just a little.
The sun is shining on him making his hair look golden and eyes like crystals. He catches you staring and gives you a boyish smile. If you're honest, you don't know what you would have done if he'd turned you down yesterday, there's no one else in here you want to get to know.
When you finish eating, you wash the dishes together, hands brushing in the soapy water. You're lying on one of the many loungers by the pool, Armin sitting cross-legged on the ground beside you, leaning against the side of your chair.
"Tell me about yourself," you turn onto your side to face him. "We've never really had an actual conversation before last night."
He looks up giving you his full attention. "What do you want to know?"
You think for a moment, then ask, "Are you physically affectionate with people you're dating? Or are you okay if someone's like that with you?"
His ears flush pink. He glances away, eyes darting to the plants behind you. "I've never really been in a serious relationship before," he confesses. "But I guess I'd be fine with someone who's really affectionate."
You nod, relieved. "Good. I like being close, touchy with someone I'm dating. My exes never really liked that about me." A gust of wind blows Armin's hair into his eyes, and before he can reach up, you're already brushing it back, fingers running through the soft strands. His eyes light up, sparkling as he looks at you.
The conversation drifts to your lives outside the villa. Armin tells you he's studying marine biology, he's thinking of working in marine conservation. He tells you about how he was one of the few students chosen to go on a trip to Isla Del Cano in Costa Rica. How the water was so turquoise and clean it didn't look real, how he swam with the sea turtles. It's the most you've heard him speak since you arrived.
"I'm an only child, but I have a friend, Eren, that I've known since we were kids," he says, he's now sitting beside you on the lounger, his hand resting comfortably on your leg. "He was actually the one who convinced me to come here."
"Really?"
He laughs, rubbing your leg absentmindedly. "Yeah. He's got a girlfriend, and they watch this together. I think they just want to live vicariously through me since they've already found each other."
"My friend Pieck is the reason I'm here too," you admit, giggling. "My parents don't even know I'm here. They think Pieck and I are on vacation."
Armin bursts out laughing, head thrown back. "Mine don't know either. I'd die if they were watching this." The two of you dissolve into more laughter, like it was the funniest thing in the world.
Across the pool, Connie is lounging back, arms propped holding his weight, while Jean sips his water quietly after a workout. Connie leans over and says, "She looks way happier with him than with you." Jean shoots him a glare and gives him a kick, but he's smiling too.

I've been wanting to rewrite my fist Levi fic because I hated how it turned out. I'm going to write every chapter like a one shot so they can be read as a stand alone.
The room is dimly lit by the dying embers of the fireplace. Shadows flicker across the walls, and the low crackling and patter of rain tapping against the windows. The sound is soothing, helping you drift to sleep. You're lying on your side, eyes closed, your hand curved protectively over your round belly, feeling the occasional flutter of tiny kicks. A smile tugs at your lips, wishing Erwin were here beside you.
A gentle shuffling stirs you, pulling you back to the present. You open your eyes, blinking trying to see in the dim lighting, and watch as the dark-haired man gets up quietly from beside you. He moves silently trying not to disturb the peace of the room. His silhouette is outlined by the faint firelight as he crosses to the hearth and crouches to stoke the flames. You watch him for a moment, the curve of his shoulders, the way his hair falls, before your attention is pulled away by another small kick.
Your thoughts drift to that day, a memory so clear, when Levi appeared at your door. The way the world seemed to be quiet as you opened the door.
Before that awful day, just before Erwin's last mission, you found out you were pregnant. You can still hear his laughter, see the light in his eyes when you told him. He was so happy to start a family with you. He immediately started preparing, clearing out his office, the second largest room in the house, to make space for the baby. The first thing he brought in was a heavy cherry wood crib, its polished surface gleaming in the morning sun. Inside, nestled together, were two plush bunnies, one pink, one blue. Erwin had spotted them in a shop window and bought both, smiling as he explained that since you weren't going to know the baby's gender until the birth, it was best to be prepared. "And when we have another, hopefully a girl, she can have the other one," he said, already talking about the future of having another baby.
He was dead set that the baby would be a boy. He told you, half joking, half serious, that the couples in his family always had sons, so it was only inevitable that you were going to have a boy as well. You remember sitting together late at night, legs tangled under the blankets, scribbling out lists of names in a notebook. You finally found the perfect boy name, but you'd never agreed on one for a girl, always ending up in gentle arguments and laughter.
You had asked him, more than once, to take a safer position, to step back from the front lines. But Erwin was stubborn, driven by a sense of duty you both admired and hated. "I can't just leave them," he said. "They need me. My men depend on me." The last night you shared, he confided that he'd written letters for Levi, detailing everything about you and where you lived, just in case. Levi was the only person he trusted enough to know about his personal life. He gave you a photo of Levi, so you would recognize him if he ever came around.
So, when you opened the door that day and saw the man standing on your porch, you almost didn't realize it was him. He didn't look quite like the man in the photo. The scowl was gone, replaced by a more tired. A thick, jagged scar carved its way from his forehead, right through his eye, and down to his chi. Beside it, another, thinner scar. You noticed the bandages on his right hand, missing fingers, evidence of battle fought. There was a softness in his eyes. You didn't need him to speak to know what he came to tell you. You'd known, deep down, ever since the war ended and days had passed without word from Erwin.
Since then, Levi has been a near constant presence in your life. At first, it was just visits, checking on you, helping where he could, but soon enough, he moved in. He made himself useful, quietly assisting with anything and everything you needed. You had a small staff to help manage the large house, but Levi joined them, cleaning and organizing. He was always nearby, following at a respectful distance on your daily walks, lifting boxes and furniture as you finished setting up the baby's room, keeping a watchful eye without ever hovering.
You've grown used to his company. He doesn't pester you, he kept to himself. So much so that you know almost nothing about him besides what Erwin told you, which wasn't much.
Tonight is the first time Levi has ever entered your bedroom. You'd been restless from the discomfort in you lower abdomen, pacing the room, when he knocked gently on the door and offered to bring you water. The gesture felt unexpectedly comforting, the staff usually left you alone at night never checking in on you. You asked him to stay until you fell asleep. He agreed.
He settled himself against the headboard after the flames grew, legs stretched in front of him and arms folded, the firelight casting sharp shadows across his face.
Levi glances down at you. "I know you're awake," he says quietly.
You stay curled on your side, tugging the duvet up to your chin. "I want to ask you something." He hums, a simple sound that means he's listening, waiting for you to go on. "The only thing Erwin ever told me about you was that you were planning to kill him, and that you were the only person he trusted." The words sound strange. It's hard to think that Levi once tried to kill Erwin and later was the one person he trusted the most and became his right hand.
Levi lets out a sound like a scoff and a laugh. "What do you want to know?"
