My name is D. (she/her, >18), I am a sports fan and an RPF fic writer.

I support FC Barcelona as well as Valencia CF. This blog is mainly about football but sometimes I talk about F1 (McLaren and LN1) and NBA (Lakers).

Everything about my fic 'Alien Abduction' is under the 'alien abduction fic' tag.

It is a ship blog, if you don't like, don't look. I treat RPF as fun and do not participate in discourse about actual personal lives.

Sometimes I post some critique during games but I try to be reasonable about it and delete anything not to the substance of the match after :)

Well, Camp Nou for one! But I want to wait till it's fully renovated

Generally I really like old stadiums with lots of history so San Siro or Old Trafford. I'd love to visit Mestalla one more time while it's there but no sure I'll have the money. Still happy I got to see it!

From not obvious ones maybe the Bodo/Glimt stadium on a CL night.

I've been preparing myself to watch it in one go but I've got like all spoilers possible bc I am nosy. I am not very optimistic about liking Lestat's narration but we'll see!

I've been thinking how to answer this for a while. Honestly I don't know.

Part of it is that it was a parasocial connection and I've just been burnt with how unhealthy it is. Like I def don't want to get parasocial about him again.

Another part of it is that he needs to mature a lot as a person and find where he stands on his own. @xhekix discusses it pretty rationally in one of their latest posts.

All of it is to say that I support Barça and other guys mainly in terms of their footballing abilities. I enjoy lifestyle content with them but Ferran was different. My support stemmed from my respect for him as a human-being first bc his story resonated with me. Yet, for me personal and political struggle are strongly connected so it was a big hit to my view of him whether it was naive or not.

I hadn't really followed European club football before bc it seemed like too big of an investment (it is) but I really wanted to support Rashy's fresh start. Then I fell in love with Barça's whole team, it never was just Ferran or Pedri for me. Same goes for VCF - I like it for its history, stadium (💔), crazy but loyal fanbase and the potential to return to glory one day, not bc of Ferran or Javi.

The 7 was for Ferran, since I am not a fan anymore seemed right to change it
