That wasn’t technically a lie, seeing as the plays did have some sort of familiarity to it! But saying that the little girl knew exactly where they were was a bit of a stretch -- But, when the older lady grabbed onto her hand, there was no doubt that she needed to reassure her that everything wouldbe fine! BESIDES, what was the harm in a little adventure? Getting lost every once in awhile wasn’t that bad and it was fun to have to look aroundthe place! Always finding new things and people to play with. 

          ‘ pretty?           REALLY? thanks – ! …           what’s the thing that’s pretty, though? ‘

        “ Ah — be careful ! ”        Lunging forward, the princess gently grabbed the little girl’s arm ; Lucina’s instincts had always told her to protect those younger than herself, and this was far from an exception. She found herself in many a situation like this, and like the several before she continued to assess it, gently pulling her away from the ledge she previously stood on.            “ Are you alright? It would be best to stay away               from the ledge, little one… ”

... THAT WAS a close one. Tiny feet pitter-pattered around the edge, rocks rolling down the hill from the added weight of her small body and the view down there wasn’t the prettiest but it was a long way down, deep enough to catch her attention and will to see what was down there -- If it hadn’t been for the strong grip to grab at her arm ( Admittedly hurting just the slightest! ) what came next wouldn’t have been the funnest thing in the world. 

Blinking up at the strange woman, the small red-head nodded quickly to her  question, reassuring the lady that she was just FINE -- But her interest remained down the cliff where a chubby finger was pointed towards before loud words that couldn’t help but echo across the rocks left her lips. 

WHAT A weird looking human. Surely, she hadn’t been one for that long butPonyo could clearly tell what and what wasn’t a person or not. And this wasdefinitely not a person from what she could tell! BUT, that would NEVER stopher from treating it less than a human or a fish! She wasn’t like her father, whoonly saw things in species and types – Not everyone could be compared tothe same thing! 

When the weird foot was placed gently upon her knee, curiosity filled chocolate hues as they looked the creature up and down, leaning in gently to sniff at it too before a tilt of her head was given in a sign of question but the grin slowly spreadacross chubby cheeks in response.

And that was obviously a big no-no in her eyes -- Especially since the day was so beautiful! Who could really be sad now? Still, the hint of unhappinessthat hit his eyes was more than obvious to the little girl who wanted to helphim out of the dumps. And that’s when an idea popped into her head. 

He wasn’t that tall -- Maybe just a few feet taller than her or less! -- So a stool was all that she needed. Chocolate optics scanned around the roomonly to land on a small chair in the corner to which tiny legs rushed towards with incredibly speed, picking it up and bringing it back over before carefullyclimbing it just to reach his height. Small chubby hands grabbed at his cheekssquishing them gently before leaning in to place a big kiss next to her thumbright on pale skin. Pulling away, lips spread into a wide smile.
