Baba is moving to Saskatoon in Aug!! I will start blogging about my move on tumblr. So lets the adventure begins!

Today is such an exciting day for me. I had to call the Vancouver Ita Trade Agency and Saskatoon Apprenticeship offices to find out if I can count my hours at the salon toward my license in Saskatoon. And the answer is I can! After I have to fill out all the forms…

Also I had a phone interview with my future boss Crystal at Ethos Salon Spa. It was suppose to be a facetime interview but my facetime stopped working. I am glad she called me in the end. We talked about 40 mins. She explained about the license and requirements to me. Explained work would be like, education and as well my opportunity to grow. I love how she said the salon will pay 50% of education fees if I decided to take a course at Vidal Sasson. Line will be Aveda, I am looking forward to there colorline. Did I mention about Barbering? They have a barber side to the salon and I can’t wait to learn that once I am there.  My estimated start date is Sept 2nd. I am very excited and looking forward to my new family.

Then I asked my second sister, Eva, to have dinner to talk about my move. We went to Pearl House in Burnaby. She bought my niece out, that is her in the picture. We shared a chocolate slush with pearl together. And she was singing to Frozen and dancing. Cute. 

I was quite nervous when I had to tell my sister the move. Surprisingly it was very hard. She was quite open minded and she taught me how to tell our mother. We chatted about work, life, kids and our mother. It was quite nice to able to talk to my family member about this. I haven’t done so for so long. Today was a good day and I’m looking forward to more good days.
