Girls Surf Too

Masha, an architecture student, is inspired by her everyday environment, and is hungry to learn more about the world. “So much comes from just observing my surroundings — architecture, nature, even sports. The desire to understand the world around me is what keeps me moving forward and improving.”

This month we’re celebrating not only our connection to the ocean and the lifestyle we love (thanks to #WorldOceansDay and #InternationalSurfingDay falling in June), but we’re excited to share stories of amazing women who draw their inspiration and experiences from the sea. Meet photographer, Carly Brown. Based in one of our favorite surf destinations, Byron Bay, Australia. Carly’s passion for visual storytelling has taken her to almost every corner of the globe, capturing moments that give us a serious case of FOMO for places, beaches and breaks we barely knew existed.
