Okay but like why does his hair look so ruffled here?? (This is the scene where Sherlock confronts Mary and he’s revealed to have been here the whole time)

My theory: SOMETHING happened between Sherlock and John before Mary came there. The only question that remains :

What could John and Sherlock possibly be doing that had John’s hair so ruffled WHILE his wife was not around ?

Like the man is brilliant. He’s an exceedingly accomplished doctor. He’s an army captain (which is not an easy rank to achieve). He’s not just a doctor, he’s a surgeon, a combat surgeon, meaning that he is not only highly intelligent but also responds quickly and accurately under stress. He’s fucking brilliant.
