“A phase that she’s trying to get me to indulge in,” he admitted. “I walked into my apartment the other day and she was sitting there with some poor girl, telling me that she brought me a ‘gift’.”

“Change?” The others faher said in a curious tone. Interested to know what he meant by it. “How so?” He asked. Here was were his head was saying something about her being Klaus’ daughter who he still wasn’t fond of. “Any idea as to why?”

“She met some vampires in LA, picked up their lifestyle habits... Something I’m not so sure I agree with... But I guess... It’s her life, isn’t it?”

“I do what I can. Good luck, and remember to be honest with her. She can smell out lies.”

“How come if that was possible, that I don’t find that surprising at all?”

“I would never think of it!” she reassured him. At first, she was a bit confused, but then she realized that she had to sprint away from him. Unfortunately for her, she was out of shape and a slow runner. “Not fair!” she whined once his arms wrapped around her body. “I want a rematch!”

“Boohoo,” Ben joked. “You’re not going to get a rematch in real life. If I wasn’t your brother and it was midnight on the streets, I’d probably be digging my fangs into your neck. How would you get me off?”
