When Shane walks into their house in Montreal the first thing he registers is the trail of rose petals which he follows from the living room to their bedroom.
The first thing he sees upon opening the bedroom door is Ilya butt naked, lying on their bed which is covered in more rose petals, there are rose petals on the floor and other pieces of furniture, there are huge vases of roses, God knows how many candles and a bottle of champagne and two glasses.
“Happy Valentines Day!” Ilya says.
Shane couldn’t help but smile.
“Ilya it’s February 4th.” Shane said in reply.
