I was talking to my class the other day when a gentleman student raised his hand and said "could I go out into the hall? I need to fart." He was in earnest. I was surprised by his matter of fact manor and started to laugh. "I'm serious" he replied. So I continued laughing and granted his request. I couldn't help my self and the whole class was already laughing too so I followed up with "just make sure it doesn't follow you back in" the craziest part was I was able to regroup and continue teaching the lesson.

Ariel to piano instructor: I didn't get to practice this one very much because my mom called me to do the dishes.

Ariel(from the backseat of the car): mom, Lola's doing the Macarena and it's bothering me. Me: Ariel, think about what you just said. How am I supposed to take you seriously?

Lola: Some people say they want to do things, but they don't want to do all the work. Then they fail at it. Way to hit the nail on the head kid!

Student: Did you find my notebook? Me: No, I wasn’t looking for it.

Student: Why did I get a bad grade? Me: well the assignment was called "Poultry PSA". None of these points were about poultry.
