So I have direct deposit like 98% of people. For many years I have received it 1-3 days before our official pay days. Think the 13th and the 28th.
So I scheduled my mortgage payment to arrive by the 15th.
This month, for absolutely no reason, the deposit comes 100% on the official payment day which is the 15th or the 30/31st.
I fucking panic because I get messages from my bank to add funds.
Money hits today, payment goes through.
Check work email. An all district email went out that was condensing enough to restate the official pay dates. Like we know, but if is been consistently early for years, this is a problem.
It is the middle of summer and it is five pm. I just got our of bed at like 2 pm and had a coffee (and biscuits and gravy courtesy of my husband) and now I am COLD and SLEEPY.
Someone remind me that I'm allowed to take naps because I'm on summer break. I just feel weird about it because I just woke up.
Stuck in a dungeon in Oracle of Ages and my brain isn't working well enough to figure it out. Maybe I'll start a new farm in Stardew? That's kinda mindless. But would I rather just sleep?

And, every day, I would like to not play the games “why is it sticky” and “why is it wet.”
“Why do you treat my classroom like your closet” is a much better game to play. I make far less weird noises playing that game.
