"Sideloading" is the rentseeker word for "being able to run software of your choosing on a computing device you purchased". There is no reasonable case for an operating system developer having a say over what programs you run on your hardware.

heyy everybody, i hope you've all been doing well. sadly i haven't! i've been going thru a lot of medical stuff. i spent almost a week in the hospital back in april due to my asthma flaring up, and i have chronic pain and fatigue that keeps getting worse from PCS, which i just learned i have due to congenital inferior vena cava atresia (extremely rare, SUPER awesome 🫩) i plan to try for disability benefits again now that i have this information but i've been physically unable to work for so long and i'm totally broke.

my birthday's coming up on 5/21, and i just renewed my driver permit a few months ago and really wanted to try to get my license again soon, but the road test & license cost $72 which i definitely don't have. it would be a really awesome birthday gift if anyone who has the means could help me out with that. if i could even just get $29 so i can renew my state ID before it expires on my birthday that would also be amazing. thank you so much for reading, please share this if you can't donate! 🌈💖
