Blue Soup

-Cloud’s arms are kinda flimsy looking but at least his hair retains its Chocobo butt resemblance (they’ve been working on that technology for years now, so nothing new). I don’t have an opinion on Barrett’s shades, but I’m happy he doesn’t have the AC mesh shirt. It would be great if his gun arm was comically larger though.

-I’m not keen on the English voices, so I will just pray there’s a Japanese voice option. Also, the dialogue indicates you won’t be able to rename Cloud. Boo! However, it looks like they’re staying pretty faithful to the original translation. I’m still crossing my fingers for that “let’s mosey!”

-It looks like you can switch between party members in battle! I’m pretty stoked about that since it’s the next best thing to turn-based combat, in my opinion. Although it leaves a lot of questions about limit breaks and enemies and such.

-There’s no clear indication on whether you can switch characters outside of battle, but that would be pretty sweet if it can be done. I mean, there are parts in the game where Cloud isn’t in the party at all so they’ll have to do the work for those characters at the very least.
