ben nods along with her words, fingertips subtly fidgeting against the pressure of the glass bottle in his grasp. ¨you don´t have to worry about me, it takes a lot more than the apocalypse to get rid of ol´ benny boy.” he replies, waving away her questions. his expression changes a bit, becomes a bit solemn, at the mention of their town´s latest events- a brief smile acknowledges her flattery, but he can´t bring himself to hold it. ¨i´m not worried about myself because of my powers, but…are you sure it´s a great idea to stick around?¨

"Are you really that worried about little ole me?" she teased lowering laptop screen a little. Kamilah was well aware of the current state of the city and how dangerous it could become. It could be a matter of weeks or even days before the city’s landscape could become a warzone.”Well don’t worry too much. I have three older brother’s that used to throw me like a sack of flour and I never go anywhere without my pepper spray.”  She also had her venom in her snake form, but it was more of an opportunistic ability than anything. She was more likely to get kicked across the street than actually bite anyone.

¨you just expect too much,¨ tony chimes back, expression disinterested as he picks at his own hazelnut croissant. he´s only taken one bite from it since they´ve sat down. he shrugs. ¨what do you think the point of it was?¨ he continues, brows slightly furrowing. ¨they all seemed like a bunch of nobodies.¨

"Or you expect too little.” he said as he finished off his croissant. Without hesitation the siren’s hand dipped into the bag sitting next to him pulling out another sweet treat. “I’m sure it was to send a warning of what’s to come soon and that there is no escape for anyone. Even if they flee Salem do they really think this city is the only target? There has to be more targets out there. Why?” he asked turning to the imp. “Are you thinking about pulling out?” He already knew the answer, but couldn’t help but tease the other. 

i don´t expect you to be involved. while his reaction probably isn´t giving her the best indication of how he´s feeling, her words strike a cord. he turns away from her for a moment, hand still lightly gripping his hair as he stares at the wall directly across from them. ¨come over later,¨ he finally says, half-turning to look at her. both hands are on his waist this time, and he won´t meet her eye. ¨i have things to take care of. i´ll meet you there. …same time as always.¨

Rhea couldn’t process his response for a moment. She had so many questions as to why he wanted her to come over later. Did he want to be involved? No she couldn’t hope for that it was too much to think about. “Okay.” was all she could muster as she picked up her to go box. She wasn’t hungry anymore and would probably toss it on the way home. “I’ll see you then.” she said as she exited the alleyway.

               HE  WASN’T  SURPRISED  BY  HER  WORDS  ,  more  just  by  how  she  said  it  .  considering  how  nervous  she  was  ––-  but  he  understood  it  too  .  when  she  said  who  the  father  was  ,  he  had  to  pause  to  think  .  “  that  little  ass-  ”  he  stopped  himself  .  he  wasn’t  judging  ,  it  was   c l e a r   .  he  was  just  trying  to  thinking  of  who  she  meant  .  “  that  guy  you  used  to  hang  around  with  a  lot  ?  ”  he  didn’t  really  need  her  to  confirm  it  ,  he  had  just  been  questioning  it  out  loud  .  shaking  his  head  ,  he  was  getting  off  course  .  “  hey  –  no  matter  what  –  i’ll  be  here  for  you  .  ”

"It wasn't planned." she almost blurted in Mikko’s defense. “It was just supposed to be a hook up situation because the whole being a succubus thing and I trust him. And yeah it’s him. We’ve been friends forever and we talked about rules beforehand.” One of those rules being they would stop if someone developed feelings. It was something she asked for to maintain their friendship. At least that’s what she told herself. She knew she feelings for him long before then, but denied them anyways. “It’s already hard for us to get pregnant and we used protection most of the time. It just happened to be the one time we didn’t.”

Ellie folded her arms over her chest, making herself as small as possible. She nodded, looping her arm around Micah’s. She felt safer already. Something about the presence of one of her oldest friend’s never failed to put Ellie at ease. She always trusted that he would protect her. “Thank you,” Ellie said softly. “It’s probably silly, but I’m so scared… Dad’s out of town at a convention, or I’d have bothered him… I hate to think I’m taking you away from your work.”

Micah paused for a moment. “While I do wish you had called in advance so I could met you outside my office I’m not one to leave a friend hanging in their time of need. “ Luckily for the both of them the biggest appointment he had today was with Curly the pug who was notorious about getting defensive when he was getting his nails done. It wasn’t anything the staff couldn’t handle, but having a werewolf on their side did seem to calm the pug down. “My team looks tough, but Gerry is a human and gets spooked when ghosts are brought up and she’ll be on edge all day. For the rest of them with the town’s recent happenings everyone has been on edge and I’m afraid anything might send them over. So a warning call or text would be appreciated next time. But let’s get on to lunch so you can tell me what’s happened up to this point.”

               LISTENING  TO  THE  MAN  ,  SERA  HAD  A  RARE  SMILE  ON  HER  FACE  .  “  now  that’s  just  not  fair  –  cause  now  i  wanna  see  both  places  .  ”  she  half  joked  .  but  since  she  knew  her  upcoming  trip  would  be  a  lot  of  walking  ,  she  decided  “  you  gotta  show  me  this  spot  in  in  forest  river  park  though  .  who  is  their  right  mind  would  pass  up  dinosaur  bones  ?!  ”  she  chuckled  a  little  .  

The young wolf smiled and wrote his name down, pausing once more.“Elijah is in his office?” The girl offered, thinking for a second. “He said he’d be willing to meet with his pack to discuss.” But she hadn’t seen the other wolves today, which was surprising. “I’m sure he’d be happy to talk with you.” 

“Linda doesn’t deserve my food, not after what she said about my meatballs at the Christmas potluck. Some things are unforgivable… Can’t you just dump some of that on an intern like everyone else does- not me of course, I would never- or are they extra helpless this year?” Pediatrics only had a handful of interns, but they were about as proficient as the actual patients sometimes…

“I suppose if you really don’t have time I can just put in the fridge for you; hide it behind Linda’s hoard of Tupperware so no one tries to steal it or something!”

As soon as the other hit him, he knew he was off his game. That’s what he get’s for his lack of sleep and over training. Jax hit the ground with a thud, trying to get up and wincing nearly instantly. The hunter instantly filled with regret. He knew better than to pick fights. He knew better than to fight unless it was warranted, now he was stuck on the sidewalk, in an immense amount of pain and curfew was sneaking up now. 

Movement wasn’t an option, the pain in his torso was unimaginable, attempts to sit up was met with a swift inability to breathe properly. “I can’t move.” 

It wasn't like Gabriel to wander by herself later in the evening unless she had just returned from the her patrol of the ocean, but she couldn’t help it this time. After discovering the apple fritters in Gordo’s Sweet factory she was hooked. Something about the sugary warm goodness made her crave it 24/7. Making her way back to her new living arrangement she spotted the man on the ground and with the recent events in the town Gabriel wondered if it was a trap. “Hey are you okay?” she asked leaning over the man.

Violet Had just finished her shift and while she liked be able to get a new start in Salem, she still felt as though thing’s weren’t safe. She had been running for so long but, it never felt like enough and the witch was getting tired. It was why she had been so in her head lately and seemed a bit more far off. By the time she had finished her shift, Violet was ready to just collapse in her bed. She walked out into the main area after grabbing her thing’s only to bump into walk right into someone so fast the she screamed. “ Oh shit! I’m really sorry” 

Lilith had been on her way to meet with someone in a private room when she felt the woman grab her arm. It took everything in her not to cause a scene. The crown of hell did not like being touched especially by a stranger. “It’s no problem this time. Just try not to do it again.” she politely warned. Looking at the woman a bit more she asked, “Long night? You look like you’ve been dragged around the ringer.”
