A Year and a Day

First new song of the decade! 27 days isn’t bad, even though most of it just fell out today.

A song about telling stories.

Definitely starting to feel like fall. Two songs in as many weeks? Crazy.

So I wrote this song tonight. In like 20 minutes. The title was kicking around my head for the past week, but tonight this all came out. Might have something to do with being in a pub in the West Village today.

Okay, so I have been gone for a while. Life happens. Music continues. Here’s something that I have been working on.

A darker waltz for autumn.

Been a while, so here is an easy folk song.

Messing around with lyrics, definitely in the rough stages. But still kinda nice.

Rough take of a new folk song. I don’t typically write things this slow, so it’s a nice change of pace.

So this song has been sitting in my head keeping me from working on other things. Kinda Outlaw Country. For the longest time I had the line “Black Horses bring good fortune” in my head. But when I finally tried writing something with the line it came out darker. Also props to an old, cancelled video game for the line about faith and a .45--consider this an homage for a great idea cut short.

Been working on a song. Came out a lot softer than I thought it would, but I like it.
