Sooo, I make this post on behalf of Nan @ayangnyanyang. She’s an Indonesian (like me), and now she’s in Japan, to watch Hand In Hand Tour. Recently she got herself in some unfortunate situation, and the end of the story, is amazing! She just don’t have time to post it on Tumblr, so she asked me to write it on her behalf, and here is the story :
Today is March 30th, and I’m on Shinkansen, on my way from Tokyo to Hiroshima, going to watch Nothing’s Carved In Stone concert at Club Quattro. Just like my previous journey, I’ve prepared everything, I left some of my stuff in Tokyo because we all know dragging a huge suitcase isn’t practical, besides I’ll back here later, so I’m just packing the essentials with me. Of course, I also bring the ticket.
I don’t know why, but suddenly I felt the urge to check my concert ticket, that time I’m almost arrive at Shin Osaka station when the nightmare happens : I brought the wrong ticket. I left my Hiroshima ticket with my stuff in Tokyo.
I plan to watch two Hand In Hand Concert, Hiroshima and Nagasaki. While I’m supposed to bring the Hiroshima ticket, in fact I brought the Nagasaki one. No matter how many times I look at the ticket, it won’t change the fact that Nagasaki is the city that written on the ticket, not Hiroshima.
Right away I contact my two Japanese friends, M-san and S-san, and explain the situation. I’ve thought that perhaps I will buy last minutes ticket on-line, but S-san says that I should try to negotiate it first with the staff and explain it all. Another friend of mine, that knows my situation, gave me a link about lost ticket experience, in Japanese. Both my mind and my heart went blank, I don’t even try to google translate it, only pass it to my Japanese friends so they can read it.
They read it, but still, “it’s hard” they said. With my uncertain feelings, I arrived at Hiroshima. It’s almost midnight when I walk to the hostel that I’ve reserved. I’m so tired, I don’t think about it and decided to just go to sleep. The next day (March 31st), I went to Miyajima Island, just like what I’ve planned, besides I think it’s better to keep moving if you stuck in a situation like this. M-san will come to see the concert in Hiroshima, but I don’t know if I can join her tonight. Fyi, I saw the same talking cat doll in Miyajima Island that Hinatch bought, lol.
Around 2 P.M, still on my blank mind, M-san contact me, she says that there’s ticket on sale for Hiroshima concert tonight, it’s around￥5,000 a piece exclude comission and tax. It’s too expensive, and I don’t have any budget left for ticket. But then suddenly M-san says Oniy willing to help, so I don’t need to buy another ticket. I don’t understand what is she talking about. Oniy? Who’s Oniy? Then she told me that actually she sent a message to Oniy regarding my situation, then M-san sent me the screen shot of the message (Me : sorry guys, for privacy reason I can’t upload the screen shot 🙏) :
The message that M-san sent to Oniy contains explaination of my condition (the fact that I “lost” my ticket, that I came from Indonesia, and nearly cannot speaks Japanese), and M-san intentions to come to Quatro with me, to explain the details
And Oniy replied, saying that we can come to Quatro around 4 P.M (couple hours before concert), and there’s staff that gonna handle this, so just come and explain it all to staff.
So this Oniy that she mention, is Oniy the drummer from Nothing’s Carved In Stone. I cried on my way from Miyajima Island to Hiroshima. That’s so heartwarming. Oniy willing to help! Like, he can just ignore the message that M-san sent, it could be just a prank, or, someone that set up a drama in order to watch NCIS concert, but he chose to believe M-san and told the staff about my situation.
So yes, around 4 P.M we arrived at Club Quatro. When I tried to ask about the ticket, a man in a mask (what you call this kind of mask? health mask, surgical mask? something like that, but you know what I mean rite?) knows it already “about the ticket, right?”, and yes I’ve explained it all to him, with help of M-san. Then he says that even though I have proof about my ticket, I still cannot enter. The solution that he offers is I buy the regular ticket, and later I send them my ticket (the real one that I left in Tokyo), and after they receive my ticket, I’ll get my refund. It’s a win win solution.
I’m so glad, and so grateful. Like, I can’t believe it!!! If Oniy just ignore M-san’s message (and he can do that actually) the end of the story wouldn’t be like this. The show? It was so AWESOME! The guys were so active and playful. Taku and his -awkward- dance, and I stand in front of Hinatch, he’s so attractive! *fangirling*, as for Ubukata I can’t see him, too far from my spot but I remember he wore a red shirt. Oniy? Aaahh, I want to shout “Arigatou Oniy”, but I’m just too shy. Speaking of Taku, there’s funny story when they play Idols, TAKU FORGOT the first four phrase of Idols, which makes me thinking “Did they extend the intro?”, and later I know that actually he forgot the lyrics 😂, and he’s just smiling and grinning, and Hinatch laugh at him. Lol. And seriously, when he start to dance, without his guitar, his move reminds me of some sort of fitness move 😂, hahaha.
The MC part as far as I remember, Akai Koen says that they’re so grateful to take part in Hand In Hand tour, thanks to Ubukata san that asked them to join the tour, and they’re surprised that actually many of NCIS fans knows them. Akai Koen’s bassist says that the first time she saw Ubu in a magazine, Ubukata san seems scary, like a mafia but after she met him, actually he realllyyyy nice. Looollll. (Me : Ubu Ojisan heart breaks a little hahahaha).
It was a lovely night, and I can’t forget the kindness of M-san and Oniy, if they’re not helping me, I won’t be there, standing in front of Hinatch. Thank you so much for your help!! 🙏
