Theories:

In the Empire of Storms it is mentioned that Maeve, hunted and killed all the fire wielders in Erilea including dragons and Fae. Any survivors of this genocide probably found a way to flee to Midgard in a hope to live freely. But another mentioning is the shifter Fae from this world knew the Asteri and served them willingly. It possible that Asteri opened the Wrygates in exchange of their loyalty to them. Then of course they erased the history of shifter Fae generation by generation and made the oblivious and servants.

It’s been a few weeks after finishing the book and I cannot stop thinking about some points which are left in the dark probably with intention.

-Who is Hunt’s father? Why named Orion?

This part contains several spoilers from HOSAB and possibilities for the next Crescent city book (CC3). It is important to be familiar with other books of s. j. mass to read the following list.

- Metioned by few people I agree that If ruhn looks like rhysand , then why not bryce looking like rhys’s sister.

- In ACOMAF Feyre describes rhys/mor as male to female equivalent in beauty, And if ruhn/lidia are similar like day/night two sides of a coin, ruhn/rhys similarity is confirmed, then it is likely that mor might be looking like lidia.

- I realized in my second reading of the last parts of the book, when bryce is embracing ruhn before leaving that world, he puts something in her pocket. Possibly communication stone he used with the hind before. This means in the next CC3 book they can talk mind to mind, and if rhysand is invited, ruhn and rhysand can face each other in their minds.

- I see so many speculations of the forth dread trove being the Horn, but it is mentioned in ACOSF by Nesta when she is in an illusion with Lanthys , she sees a bone like object behind the trove. Which soon after discussed by inner circle if it is a hidden trove.

-Rigelus mentiones there were prototypes of angels in another world rich in magic (possibly prythian) which were created as an army but soon they allied Fae and helped the takeover of their kin ( brothers and sisters of asteri is DAGLAN in a nearly certain confirmation). This prototype is possibly one of the two species we already know. When we inspect angels by ther features and powers they are either a domestic version of AMREN’s kind (death angel with burning wings and body with pure light and power. This was probably decreased to a more controllable level next time in Midgard dimension) or they are related to ILLYRIANs

-angels vs illyrians: both have large wings, warrior culture and powers for battle. Angels posses more natural and elemental based powers compared to illrian’s raw energy which they transform with stones but common point is both of them are attack or defence based powers they dont have healing magic , psyhic abilities or teleporting (except one night a year). And it was never mentioned if raw power of illyrians is used before. maybe it is so destructive that it helped the Fae in defeating Daglan in The Great WAR but it was banned to be used uncontrolled.

-if AVALLEN fae have has night court like powers I guess they are from court of nightmares. because according to description CORMAC I think looks so much like MOR’s father KEIR in apparence. and starborn fae from court of dusk aka the prison island. This means ruhn and bryce has blood from night court, autumn court and dusk court.
