I had thought for Christmas a year or so ago, I'd try to do a quick illustration as a gift to my bf's mom, who, like a lot of people, loves Alice in Wonderland. Hopefully one day, I'll be able to finish this and gift it to her.

I have always enjoyed those classical paintings that feature Arabian breeds, where they have these bulky bodies, and these gorgeously craned necks, and twig-legs that look like they shouldn't be able to support such massive body bulk. I've been wanting to do a couple small paintings for myself, one featuring my own horsey in those proportions. one day...

my love for Escaflowne always gets sparked whenever any of the songs come on my ipod. I just love the story and the characters just so much!
