More Descendants 3 Theory tidbits (Aka my imagination getting the better of me)
I’ll write it like a headcanon so it’s less confusing
The VKs need to ALL be brought over. No exceptions! Uma’s old crew, the Anti-Heroes, anybody born on the Isle without a criminal record deserves a better life!
The antagonist HAS to be an AK! I feel like Chad and Audrey are popular choices, but they are too fru fru in my opinion. I don’t think they would be driven enough to get their hands dirty. For some reason, I imagine Aladdin’s son, Aziz, as the antagonist since he’s mentioned but never elaborated upon. However, it could literally be anybody.
Aziz’s goal is to attain ALL magical instruments. From what we’ve seen in Auradon, unless you’re godly, all magic comes from the object that the person wields. He’s always wondered why his father ‘wasted’ his last wish to help someone else when magical power had such endless possibilities. Basically, he’s driven by greed (role reversal?)
Aziz hides in plain sight, going about his daily life as an Auradon Prep student and trusted friend of the king. However, he’s running the show behind the scenes. He has henchmen, and how does he manipulate these henchmen? Let’s say he tricked Genie’s daughter into giving him the ability to make some of his words absolute! (I’m calling it the golden tongue) He uses this to control a certain gang of misfits
Meet the Lost Boys! They’ve left the Pan and grown into teenage hooligans. Now just imagine this! Six teenage, well-muscled guys with a childlike insanity who have grown out of their animal onesies in favor of badass animal pelts, accessories made from animal bones, and war paint. That’s like six Harry Hooks in animal fur. C'mon it’s hot! (Also, Max and Charlie Carver need to be casted as the raccoon twins, and they need to be very creepy when they talk at the same time)
So Aziz succeeds and captures all of the magical items. Ben is trying to solve the problem because it is domestic, and he needs to prove he’s not a damsel in distress. Mal insists that she helps. They quarrel over the matter, but after all of the magical items are gone, Ben gives in and asks for her help. However, without the spell book, Mal has no idea what to do. In order to fight magic, she needs magic! But Aziz has all of the magical instruments…
Mal will have to beg a certain someone for help
And guess who just so happens to be hiding in a cavern along the shoreline after fleeing Cotillion?
