But please please let’s not be all negative about tomorrow’s competition and say stuff like “Now that Halvor’s not competing, it doesn’t count and no one else deserves it”

They do! Yes, chances were high that Halvor would’ve won and it would’ve been so amazing if he could’ve crowned this season with that title. And yes ofc that means that others get a chance who maybe wouldn’t have had one if he had competed. But that does not mean that they don’t deserve it! There are so many great athletes in the field, so many who’ve had a brilliant season and who have shown their talent in all the competitions. Not saying that it is fair how things go but let’s not make it all even more unfair by spreading those negative vibes.

I’m just hoping we’ll have a nice quali today and a great competition tomorrow and that the best jumper will win.
