Nico has a thing for pretty eyes. It’s alright Nico, it’s alright. 

So Nico decided he hates Mythomagic because of Bianca, right? But that doesn’t mean he can’t be a fan of anything else!! 

Nico and Leo finding out that they both watch Doctor Who and decide to have a marathon 

Both agreeing not to tell anyone about this weird friendship 

Piper complaining about the Aphrodite cabin swoon about a handsome actor in a TV show Nico happens to like, and Nico overhearing her complaining to Jason and solemnly agreeing with her sisters 

Percy telling Jason he should listen to Fall Out Boy because one of their songs are cool, and Nico is fuming to tell them that all their songs are great and ask if they heard this and that 

Nico starting to read comic books, and accidentally making comic book jokes here and there 

I’ve had this one since June

Nico could honestly say he neverthought he’d make it to this point. After dropping out of school to take careof the Underworld for a while, he never really thought he’d pick it back upagain. Will had long since gotten his masters and was working on his doctorate,and Nico had only been one year shy of graduating when he had to drop suddenlydue to “family issues”. (Hades had needed him in the Underworld for anundetermined amount of time.) Will had been extremely supportive, and hecovered the rent while his boyfriend wasn’t living at home.

Nico had reappeared six monthslater with more than enough cash to cover rent and let Will quit his job and goback to studying full time. Nico, never one to just sit around, had quicklyfound work if only to keep himself busy while Will was in class. He didn’tthink he’d go back to school again. He had lost too much information and hewasn’t sure if he could even get back in.

Will had been nothing butsupportive of Nico, and now, three years later, Nico was graduating with a bachelor’s.Will was practically bouncing on the balls of his feet and he fixed the cap onNico’s head. “I’m just so proud of you!” His voice betrayed just how excited hewas and Nico couldn’t help but laugh. “I’m serious, three years ago you droppedout because of Hades and you never thought you’d finish, and now you’regraduating early!”

Nico had worked his ass off inorder to graduate only a year behind when he was originally supposed to,constantly staying in class late to make sure he got all the notes and stayingup late studying for tests to make sure he passed them the first time.

Will stood in front of him, hisblue eyes shining. “I’m just really proud of you. I love you so much.” Nicosmiled and accepted Will’s offered kiss. If he was being honest, he wasnervous. Will’s excitement was certainly rubbing off on everyone around them,but Nico couldn’t help the little bundle of nerves settling in his stomach.

Will glanced down at his phonebefore grinning. “You better get to your seat.” Nico nodded and pecked Will’scheek before stepping into the throngs of people ushering into the auditorium.Will disappeared into the masses and Nico steeled his nerves.

Nico grinned as Will spun himaround, peppering kisses all over his face. “You did it, baby!” Nico felthimself laugh and grip Will’s shoulders. He knew Will never really thought Nicowould go back to school, and Nico never really thought he would either, but ashe held his diploma, he felt the pride that Will had been talking aboutearlier.

“Thank you for being sosupportive,” Nico mumbled into Will’s chest, taking a deep breath. He felt Will’schest heave with a laugh and he peaked up at him. “I love you.”

Will was grinning and practicallybeaming at Nico. “I love you too.”

“Frankly, my dear, I don’t give a damn.” Will tells the pouting son of Hades currently occupying a bed in the infirmary. Nico was mad at him for not clearing him for capture the flag, but there was no way Will was letting him compete with a broken wrist.

“I don’t even need to be here!” Nico exclaimed, flailing his arms around, wincing when the gesture hurt his injury.

“For Apollo’s sake, you’re not invincible!” Will took ahold of Nico’s bandaged arm, sensing how far into the healing process it was. “You need to be here if I say you need to be here.”

“It’s not even my sword arm,” Nico gives a little wave with his other hand, “I can still fight.”

“I don’t doubt it.” Will muttered. “But there’s a chance you could hurt yourself further. This isn’t a battlefield Nico. You don’t have to fight.”

“That doesn’t mean I don’t want to.”

Will looks at him for a second, not knowing how to appease his riled up patient. 

“The only fighting you’re going to be taking part in is our daily verbal sparing sessions, Death Breath.”

“At least there’s a small possibility of you winning one of those, Sunshine.” Nico quipped. “You’d have no chance in a physical fight.”
