Is it selfshipping if you started from a place of "How would someone with my disability interact with these elements of the setting" and this sent you down a train of thought that inadvertantly led to this OC who deliberately resembles you in certain ways having a really shippable dynamic with a canon character that you want to explore? But it feels more like canon/canon shipping than selfshipping because you didn't think about this character much before now and noticed chemistry like an onlooker rather than deliberately creating it?

I think I might actually be feeling some "I wish he was real" feelings for once about Diggers. Maybe because he feels more like he could be a real person in my real world than the other f/os do. He has magic powers, but I don't feel like he'd be a very different person without them, and even though he's from the 60s, his anti capitalist pro art feelings still feel very applicable to the modern day. And there are still people who regularly dress hippyish, including myself.

FYI last post I rbed was from an antishipper, which I usually try not to do on principle, but I thought they were saying something important and made an exception here.
