Possible hot take...but I WILL NOT see The Odyssey. Yes I can appreciate the cinematography and genius that is Christopher Nolan and the lack of CGI in its making.

But as a first generation Greek American, I cannot overlook the obvious and blatant disrespect of Greece, lack of greek language and culture, not stopping in Athens for the press tour...just to name few. Like the not paying tribute to the story's origin and everything is offensive and terrible.

Not at all! I love the representation, and I tagged Zendaya because I love her! There were too many people in the cast to tag them all, and I honestly thought by tagging her it'd be obvious that I love her.

No, my issue is strictly lack of respect for the origin of the work itself and the country.
