that being said, go full on out. be as selfish as to want to. go beyond your limits. dream wild.
manifest that dream job. your favorite celebrity. that house. that relationship.
instead of manifesting getting into your local college, why not manifest getting into the best university of your country? instead of manifesting clear skin, why not change your entire appearance? instead of manifesting
€100, why not manifest 100k?
if you are still asking me if you can manifesting something, you do not believe you are the creator. the CREATOR HAS NO LIMITS.
and don't hit me with that: "but what about my circumstances?" CIRCUMSTANCES DONT MATTER.
you can manifest on a deadline, for other people, even things that are "biologically impossible".

WHAT’S IN MY BAG(S) in my situationship reality,, or my carry on entry for day two of fawn’s shifting summer expedition & the content of my everyday and summer bag
I’M A GIRL OF A MESSY EXISTENCE. One could say my life is organized chaos. The one thing that can’t be though—and I try to have a better grasp on is my bags. They come with me everywhere, they must be as clutter free as possible. Only the essentials, to give mercy upon my weak shoulders. This is about all that make themselves home in my purses during everyday life:
THE EVERYDAY BAG includes a journal, a planner, a pencil case, my prescription sunglasses, my glasses case, my keys, my wallet, my airpods, my lip combo, a camera, my scents, a portable charger, and a hair clip or two
BEACH DAYS ARE MORE COMMON than you think in New York City. With a friend group that loves the sun and water, I must be prepared at all times. A go bag of sorts has to be ready in case last minute beach trip plans are made. This is what I keep myself prepped with for those moments:
THE SUMMER BAG includes a bathing suit or two, my water bottle, sunscreen, body oil, a towel, aquaphor, a speaker, and as many snacks i can fit in there
no action needs to be taken. You do not have to work out to lose weight. You do not have to change your skin care routine to get clear skin. You do not have to get dating apps or go out and "mingle" to get a boyfriend. You do not have to work for money. You do not have to lift a single finger for anything in your life if you don't want to. I have manifested everything I've wanted without taking any physical action because I don't like putting in work (only mental work around here)
- affirm persist affirm persist affirm persist. That is all you have to do. Even if your thoughts sound "robotic" it doesn't matter. An assumption though false if persisted in must harden into fact.
- you can change anyone completely. You can manifest brand new biological parents. You can manifest new biological siblings. Brand new if you want them too be.
Never feel guilty for it either because it's a waste of time. If it will make you happier and your life better than do it.
— your desires will show up extremely fast. Don't listen to logical people who say bs like "it takes six months to change your life" or "you have to work hard for what you want" or "you can't have it all". Those are all complete lies.
You can have it all. All you have to do is affirm and persist.
Time is not real however it doesn't take more than a couple days for your desires to show up. I said what I said.

﹙ the final rehearsal ୨୧ ﹚
⧽ ꒰ SOUND ꒱ ─ the cacophonous sound of nearly every instrument being played at once ノ indistinct chattering amongst my peers
✿ every musician on the stage , including myself , are getting themselves ready for the last rehearsal before a really important performance . and that means making sure for like the five hundredth time that your instrument is still in tune and that you can play at your very best , even just for a rehearsal .
✿ above the loud , clashing sounds of the instruments i can catch people excitedly talking about the upcoming performance , expressing how nervous , excited or even scared they feel about performing in front of the largest crowd they've ever meant to be before thus far . it's almost sweet in a way , that the same feelings bubbling in my heart are reflected in nearly every face i see on the large stage .
⧽ ꒰ SIGHT ꒱ ─ the many excited faces around me ノ a stand holding up the sheet music of the symphony
✿ seeing everyones grinning faces , be it from nervousness or sheer excitement , is enough for me to shed just one of the many anxiety inducing hands that fold over my heart (ᵕ—ᴗ—) . and i make a very , veeeery intentional choice not to glance to my left , where the cellists sit , to not amplify my already nervous state of mind as i can almost feel the weight of a specific verdant-hued gaze settling over me ૮꒰๑ˊᜊˋ๑꒱ა
✿ if i were to be honest , the sheet of music before me looks close to gibberish given how nervous i am , but we ball , right ? (╥ᴗ╥)
⧽ ꒰ SMELL ꒱ ─ the recently cleaned lacquered wood beneath my feet ノ the powdery and floral notes of my perfume
✿ if i focus reeeeally hard , i can make out the smell of the cleaning agent used on the polished wood that makes the stage floor . the faint , fading citrusy notes are really pleasant , though they remain buried under the floral notes of my perfume and the scent of wood coming my violin .
✿ i had spritzed my perfume on before i left my house , and despite the rain that had washed over me on my way to the venue , the scent of my perfume remains just as it was before i left home . the delicate scent is sweet , powdery and floral as it climbs up the column of my neck to meet my nose , a perfect match for the spring season c: .
⧽ ꒰ TASTE ꒱ ─ a delicate , filmy flavour of cherry
✿ the cherry flavoured lip balm that i had applied earlier that morning vanishes from my lips faster than usual as i find myself absentmindedly chewing on my bottom lip for majority of the rehearsal ꒰ is that an action born out of concentration of nervousness , who really knows (ᵕ—ᴗ—) ꒱
⧽ ꒰ TOUCH ꒱ ─ the slight dampness of my hair ノ my bow & the neck of my violin
✿ you know , i thought myself to be prepared for the annual spring downpour however i seemed to have forgotten that the ribs of an umbrella are not indestructible . so it was really unfortunate for me when one of them had broken the day before on my way back home from rehearsals && i had to do the very risky thing of using my violin case as a pseudo umbrella as i hurried over to the venue . . . and that resulted in getting myself lightly showered in the rain (╥ᴗ╥)
✿ as i get ready for the lengthy symphony we're meant to play , i flip over the music sheet to the violin solo so i could go over a specific part of it that brings me a lot of grief due to the intricacy of it T T . though i can't be too upset , as my violin feels good in my hands as i practice before the actual rehearsal , my fingers glide so smoothly atop the fingerboard as the bow in my right hand pulls out the mellifluous notes of the movement .

I have to admit that a few months ago, almost a year ago now, when I first got into the law of assumption, manifestation, shifting, and subliminals, I never imagined how far all of this could go. I was already somewhat familiar with some of these topics, but only on a surface level. I had never really taken the time to dive deeper into them. I thought they were interesting, maybe even entertaining, but nothing more.
As time went on, I started questioning things more. I constantly wondered whether it was actually possible to get the things I wanted. I thought about my current circumstances, every obstacle standing in front of me, and most importantly, how it was all supposed to happen. I always wanted to know how it would unfold, when it would happen, and what I needed to do to make it happen.
And honestly, after all this time, I can confidently say that none of that matters.
The thing that surprised me the most was realizing just how ridiculously simple this can be. We spend years believing that certain things are impossible, that some lives are reserved for other people, and that our dreams have limits. But once you truly understand how manifestation works, you realize those limits only exist because we decided to accept them.
You can have anything. Literally anything. From small changes to things that seem completely impossible. A mansion, unlimited money, relationships, opportunities, an entirely different life. Not because someone grants it to you, but because you are the one who decides what is true for you.
We are always manifesting, even when we are not aware of it. The only difference is that now you can do it consciously. You can stop reacting to circumstances and start deciding who you are and what you have.
If there is one thing I wish I had understood from the beginning, it is that you do not need to have all the answers. You do not need to know how it will happen. You do not need to analyze every detail or constantly look for proof. You simply need to stay loyal to your decision.
Manifestation is real. If you decide to use it in your favor, do it. Stop postponing the life you want to live. Stay committed to your decision, trust it, and stop giving so much power to what is in front of you.
In the end, circumstances change. The only thing that truly matters is what you choose to assume is true. 𖹭

WORLD OF COLOR DEBRIEF in my disney cast member reality,, or my post card entry for day 1 of fawn’s shifting summer expedition & a diary entry after a world changing experience at a world of color show with tommy shepherd
I THINK IT’S WONDOROUS how things work out sometimes. How people move in ways you can’t see but it changes your life nevertheless. Sometimes those moves can be scary, it could upend our lives for the worse. But when it’s for the better, it’s quite amazing.
I don’t know for sure how long he’s been wanting this. Working towards it. It could’ve been a big plan spanning weeks… maybe months, or maybe one that was as last minute as today. What I do know is that no matter what it was perfect.
He took me to smokejumpers first. At the end of our shift in Disneyland Park at approximately 4:30 PM, he asked me if I wanted to go someplace to eat. Which isn’t new for us. But he walked us all the way to California Adventure for the food.
He then convinced me to ride as many rides as possible with him, and I always love to go on rides with him. I love it because his hands always end up on me, or his body always ends up pressed into me. And when we walk off the ride he always nudges me with his shoulder or leans his head on me. Always.
We went on most of the Pixar Pier rides, all of the Cars Land rides, then hopped on Guardians at sunset. The doors opened to the sky all orange and pink and then we dropped and I clutched his hand. His hand which is usually in the air during the entire ride, but this time it was placed right on top of the handle bar I usually grab.
After that, despite my disorientation after those drops, he grabbed my hand and raced me through the park to get to the other side of the boardwalk. I knew world of color was starting soon, those schedules were hammered into us. But we never usually bothered with shows or parades when off of work, it slowed us down.
But now we’re parked in a secluded spot with a perfect view of the water show, and we’re just watching it in silence. Taking in the music, the story, the visuals. Then not even ten minutes in I hear, in his voice, “Do you like me?”
The rest of our exact words are a blur… he tells me he likes me, and shares his desire to ask me out. I awkwardly question him thinking I’m going crazy. He just answers my questions with a nod of his head, says nothing. Not long after, his hand finds mine, intertwining our fingers. And I just remember my heart beating crazy in my chest. It was an overwhelming feeling.
He manages to get my own feelings for him out of me. Then he suggests we skip going on dates and we just make it official right there in that moment. And god that was shocking to hear. Him asking me if he “may” be my boyfriend. Boyfriend is a big word, it’s something so far from where I thought we were the day before.
My reaction seemed to make him nervous, so he tries to back track. But I don’t let him, instead sharing my agreement on his stance. And then our next exchange, I don’t know if I can ever forget:
“Is that a yes?”
“Ask me again.”
“May I be your boyfriend?”
“As long as I’m your girlfriend too, Shep.”
“I wouldn’t have it any other way.”
THEN HE ASKED TO KISS ME!!!
AND THEN WE DID!!!! AND THEN HE KEPT KISSING MY FACE AND I REMEMBER THE TICKLE SO WELL!! I MISS IT!!!!!
We ended up skipping the rest of the show to ride radiator springs racers again in celebration. We didn’t use our fast pass, instead choosing to wait in the shorter than normal line so we got more time with each other.
Then he walked me back to my dorm, and kissed me goodbye at my door. And now it’s just hard to grasp that I’m a girlfriend now. That he’s mine. Just yesterday he was one of my best friends that I was convinced would never feel the same way about me. There’s so much I have to ask him. But for now, I’ll dream of Tommy Shepherd again knowing I’ll wake up tomorrow to my dreams being a reality.
TWs: sending the reader to die (dw it is NOT tagged "major character death" for a reason), speak of death and previous deaths a lot, dehumanizing language from the researchers towards both reader and SCP-049
Are you sure you are of the species of man? You look to be, but you do not have that smell to you. You… you do not have the scent. None. The Pestilence has not laid its icy hands upon your skin. How? Even before the others are infected, I can sense that they will be soon. The Pestilence smells of stagnation… of nothing. A plague that will one day claim all. You have no such scent.
You have something… new. The aroma of life. You will not experience The Great Dying, and yet I do not know why. You will not, and that is all I know.
The inner doors of D-3456044’s tomb shut with a slam of thick metal, and the clunk of an electric lock. The entity spun, its robe draping dramatically behind it as it turned to speak with the researchers currently eyeing it from behind the safety glass. Merci, mes généreux docteurs. ("Thank you, my generous doctors.")
It said, gently parting the air with the metallic murmur of its voice.
Est-ce que vous parlez français, ma chère? ("Do you speak French, my dear?")
The man stared at it, unable to speak or move; frozen in place. The entity waited patiently for its question to be acknowledged, but when a few minutes had passed with nothing but the ragged breath of its newest guest to break the silence, SCP-049 spoke again. Can you understand me?
It received a nod and continued. My apologies. I will do my best to speak in phrases you are familiar with. I can speak the King’s English well enough.
The creature paused, clearly considering its next words very carefully, but ended up shaking its head and settling on the truth. I believe that you are my newest test subject.
It finally received an answer as the D-class steeled his expression and took a step back, seemingly deciding that showing fear was akin to rolling over for a cougar. “A-Are you going to touch me?” There was not much confidence in his tone, but he was making an effort. Unfortunately it was difficult to hide the knowledge that he was locked in a containment chamber with an anomalous being that had likely taken the lives of thousands.
Well informed I see. No, I will not touch you. Do you know much of me? Many of the researchers perched above us have a very strange perception of my being.
“I used to be one of them, you know,” he replied, unsure why he was feeling defensive of the people who had stripped him of his position.
Ah, you are a scientist. Pardon, were. What protocol could you have violated for them to give you to me? I have not been given a live humanoid specimen in years. Though I suppose that is not a very long time for one such as myself. You humans succumb to the Pestilence so early. A shame.
He defaulted to facility speak as he explained. “Emotional involvement interfering with the experimentation regarding an anomalous object.”
Many words for such a simple excuse. You and your… your ilk have proven time and time again to be not men of science, but men of- of emotion. I see not what you could have done that would be so unfathomable to your species.
He recalled the conversation between him and the head of his department. The section of Site ██ responsible for appealing the very presence in front of him. His refusal to send for any D-class needed for the planned experiment; one evolving live humans for the first time in years. The way his supervisor had looked at him had almost been taunting. He had received his new orange uniform not an hour later.
I suppose I will concede that based on the average psychological state of the average human, your actions contain some amounts of logical deduction, however the doctors surrounding us are more privy to my way of seeing things. Emotional decisions should never interfere with one’s work, though I do not think an action such as that deserves a death sentence.
He dropped the false confidence and sank into himself, sliding down the wall under the viewing window and becoming practically invisible to the researchers above. “If you are going to kill me, please get it over with. I do not wish for the broadcast of my death to be dragged along any more than necessary,” he muttered, hands coming to rest over his face. He had no desire to stare death head on.
Do not fret. I will not harm you. You are here simply to help me further my research, though that is not always the perception held by the doctors around us. So many have succumbed, and many more will continue to, until such time as a perfect cure can be developed.
Fortunately, I am very close. It is my duty in life to rid the world of it, you see. The Cure To End All Cures! I have spent a lifetime developing my methods, dear, and I will spend a lifetime more, if necessary. Now, we have wasted too much time. There is work to do!
“Do what you need; just don’t let my death hurt. That is all I ask of you.”
You truly do not understand my procedure, but no matter. If you do not mind, I would like to examine you. I would greatly appreciate it if you would orally respond to some queries of mine. It is my assumption that the foundation keeps detailed medical records of all its employees, yes?
He removed a hand from his face and stared at the creature with incredulity, “Looking to see if I have a blood clotting disorder? I guarantee that will not assist in the reanimation of my corpse.”
You shortsighted humans never fail to amuse me.
The being turned to the scientists behind the glass for the first time during the encounter. Pardon me doctors, would you be able to provide me with the medical records of this lovely creature here?
Ah, right. Would you be able to provide me with the medical records of –
“D-3456044.”
Right. Thank you.
–the records of D-3456044.
A small metal slot was unlocked and a stack of files was deposited through.
Much obliged, doctor.
It studied the man’s file, and he removed the other hand from his face and looked up at the robed figure.
While I understand the desire for practicality and professionalism, reducing one to an object with only a number to individualize them has been known to result in negative psychological outcomes. Not that any of these doctors listen to much of what I say anyway.
Papers were unorganized in its hands, the files order now muddled for some unknown reason. Your records state that you are almost completely average. It said this as though it were a revelation it was searching for. What was supposed to be its brow furrowed, and it began furiously mumbling to itself before exiting the experiment zone and disappearing into its private quarters. After a few minutes, it returned with a black doctor’s bag, from which it produced a thick, leather bound journal. It frantically flipped through pages fast enough that the man couldn’t even tell if they were filled with writing.
It paused and slammed the book shut, and putting it away, the noise greatly startling the man. It fixed him with a fascinated stare; looking beneath his skin and into the deeply rooted humors of the body.
It took several steps towards the man but he did not flinch, watching the way it glided while his brain processed the odd praise it had awarded him. He supposed that the one before him was less of an abomination than he had originally suspected.
I have never met someone who smells of something other than nothing, and sometimes Lavandula Multifida. You smell of life. You smell like me.
It seems that these men of science really are losing their touch! Sending the first free soul I have seen to receive the treatment of the sick.
“Who are you?”
Ah, yes, I suppose you may call me Doctor. And what shall I call you, ma pousse? ("my sprout") A specimen such as yourself cannot simply be categorized by a number.
The man heard his name one more time than he thought he would ever get to as the Doctor repeated it with awe.
What a befitting name for a creature as alive as you. It rings through the ears like church bells at a funeral. The only thing piercing through the thick veil of death.
The man’s face moved, and he was pretty sure that he was smiling.
Do forgive my perhaps reckless assumption but… akin to the way my body is drawn towards the Pestilence, my mind and soul are drawn to you. Maybe… I apologize for this my dear.
He reached out a leather clad hand and stroked the cheek of the delicate creature before him. He remained warm.
did any of you catch the switch in pronouns :b
the plan was for this to be a one shot, but if there is demand, I would be happy to continue it to the best of my abilities!

May I request headcanons for SCP-049 x injured! junior researcher reader (gender neutral)?
I'm thinking y/n gets hurt during a breach and 049 finds them scared and in pain. Unable to move from their injuries, y/n cannot run away. They have no choice but to accept their fate.
sure!!
--
You think you're the dumbest employee here.
You know you were supposed to head to the breach shelter. But you're still new to this job, and you got a little lost.
Okay, maybe 'a little' was an understatement. You had no idea where you were going.
You, of course, managed to make your situation even worse. You ran into a ragtag group of rogue D-Class, who decided it was a great idea to take your keycard.
Which is fine. Not great, but fine. You were still alive.
Well, barely. Because they also decided to slice you up before they stole your belongings.
And that's why you're slumped against the wall, waiting until someone finds you. Or until you bleed out. Either works.
You don't know how long it was until you saw someone again. But when you did, you were overjoyed. At last, you're saved- aaand of course it's not a human. That's 049.
Now, since you're a junior researcher, you've mostly been shadowing at your job. You've seen 049 during a few of your shadowing sessions before. That's the only reason why you recognize him.
Well. Nothing you can do. It's not like you can move with your injuries. Maybe he'll turn you into one of his zombies or something. Hey, think on the bright side! You'd be useful to someone after death.
You close your eyes. You may accept your death, but there's no way you're staying awake for it.
--
When you open your eyes, it's bright.
You sit up, wiping at your eyelids. What the hell-
“Careful, doctor.”
You almost give yourself whiplash from how hard you turn your head.
“You should not be moving so soon,” 049 says, gazing at you with folded hands.
You blink. You need to process this situation.
You’re sitting on a table. 049 stands across from you. His bag is by his side, where he keeps his surgical tools.
His surgical tools.
Oh, god.
You lift your shirt, exposing your stitched stomach.
You were right. He stitched you up. What in the world have you gotten yourself into?
“Doctor,” he blurts, seemingly flustered. “I understand you may be panicked, but please pull down your...”
Whoops.
“You are in my cell,” he explains. “I brought you here.”
Maybe this is a fever dream, you think.
He holds a vase of lavender, extending it to you. “It will calm you.”
You grab it from him, making sure not to touch him in the process.
Huh. He’s right. The smell of lavender is pretty calming.
“Why’d you help me?” you manage to ask.
“You are a fellow doctor, and you were in pain.”
He cares?
You hum. Maybe you could ask him some more questions. It’d be just like conducting an interview!
Kind of.
“I’m not really ‘official,’ though.” You shrug. “I’m a junior. Not much doctor experience here.”
He laughs. “You remind me of myself when I started my journey. Being a junior does not make you any less of a doctor.”
He slings his satchel over his shoulder, moving to sit beside you.
“You still seem tense,” he remarks. No surprise there.
“Here, let me tell you a story of when I was a ‘junior.’ Perhaps you will learn from my experience. There was a time in France...”
For the remainder of the breach, he tells you of his old travels. You find yourself at ease, listening to his reminiscing with a smile.
This job wasn’t as bad as you thought it would be.
scp 049 and 035 protecting the reader during a breach hc?
𝚂𝙲𝙿 𝟶𝟹𝟻 𝚊𝚗𝚍 𝟶𝟺𝟿 𝚙𝚛𝚘𝚝𝚎𝚌𝚝𝚒𝚗𝚐 𝚢𝚘𝚞 𝚍𝚞𝚛𝚒𝚗𝚐 𝚊 𝚋𝚛𝚎𝚊𝚌𝚑
ꨄ 𝙿𝚊𝚒𝚛𝚒𝚗𝚐: 𝚂𝙲𝙿 𝟶𝟹𝟻 / 𝟶𝟺𝟿 𝚡 𝚛𝚎𝚊𝚍𝚎𝚛
ꨄ 𝚂𝚞𝚖𝚖𝚊𝚛𝚢: Your local favorite scps locating and protecting you during a containment breach. Established relationships.
ꨄ 𝚆𝚘𝚛𝚍 𝚌𝚘𝚞𝚗𝚝: 1158
ꨄ 𝙰𝚞𝚝𝚑𝚘𝚛𝚜 𝚗𝚘𝚝𝚎: N/A
𝚂𝙲𝙿 𝟶𝟹𝟻
ꨄ At the start of the breach, 035 is completely powerless. Locked in its cell as the red flashing lights illuminate its frown. It can do nothing but wait until some poor soul wanders close enough to fall under his control. It eventually happens. A senior researcher that should have known better, fleeing into the nearby observation room to escape another SCP.
ꨄ SCP-035 considers its options before deciding it should come find you. It prefers escaping with its favorite plaything in tow. It stalks out of the heavy containment zone, most other loose anomalies avoiding it like the plague.
ꨄ It usually has no problem finding you. The knowledge it sapped from its host causing it to know the facility like no other. Besides, it knows you, it knows all of your patterns. You're its favorite, of course it has gotten in your head as much as it could.
ꨄ If by some miracle it can't easily locate you, it grows heavily irritated. The air around it becomes tense, black ooze seeping from its eye and mouth holes at a much faster rate as it tears through the facility. Pray for any unfortunate souls that get in his way.
ꨄ Whatever wretched emotions it was projecting immediately flip once it senses your presence near. Once its got its eyes on you, it wastes no time striding over to you. Whether or not you're safer with or without it, you don't really know. But you do know its the one thing standing between yourself and near certain death.
ꨄ Once its got you in tow, its next objective is to escape without you dying during the process. No other anomalies can get close to you without retaliation from the mask. Most don't even bother to try, you're hardly worth the consequences they'd face.
ꨄ If anything or anyone does attempt to get near you, it won't end well for them. If the severe nosebleeds and headaches won't deter them, the mask's persuasion will get them to do much worse to themselves. Maybe it will be more lenient if you ask it nicely, maybe.
ꨄ Your sadistic companion radiates confidence and glee. It speaks to you, talking all the things the two of you will get to do together once you're both out. Some scenarios are more pleasant sounding than others, but it knows your limits. Its careful not to drive its favorite person away. It would be a waste to have to destroy your mind when it enjoys your current personality so much.
ꨄ Your life is pretty much guaranteed, as one of the biggest threats to your way of living decided it likes you. SCP-035 easily navigates throughout the halls of the site, the ooze seeping out of it slowly degrading its host. It tries to hold the body together as long as possible, but you might need to seek out a new host for it.
ꨄ Even the mobile task force units have a hard time getting near you. Whether you're D-class they need to terminate, or a staff member or SCP they need to re-contain, they just can't get to you. Whatever the outcome of the breach is, you're definitely coming out unharmed. Well, physically anyway.
𝚂𝙲𝙿 𝟶𝟺𝟿
ꨄ While not as aware as the possessive mask, he understands the lethality of the situation. While rarely harmed himself, he wouldn't describe the breaches he experienced as pleasant. As soon as he gets out of his cell, he has two objectives. To find you, and to administer his cure to the afflicted staff of the site.
ꨄ SCP-049 has a vague idea of where to look, but the chaos makes you harder to locate. He tries to locate the staff living quarters, hoping to find you there. But the multiple safeguards held in place makes it hard for him to do. Slowly but surely, the plague doctor becomes agitated and stressed.
ꨄ Bodies are left in his wake, and he makes a mental note in his mind to cure them as soon as he has you back by his side. Some of them he does reanimate, them stumbling behind their good doctor. The longer the breach goes on, the more he starts to worry.
ꨄ He calls your name as soon as he catches sight of you. If at all safe to do so, he will pull you in his arms, breathing a sigh of relief. His heart can rest a little easier knowing you're here where he can see you. His twisted patients stumble not too far behind, not reacting to your presence.
ꨄ SCP-049 wastes no time examining you to the best of his ability. He scans your body for any possible wounds, or god forbid traces of ailment. His strange voice bombarding you with questions. If you did get injured, he treats you immediately. No matter how many times you try to assure him that you're fine, he won't hear any of it.
ꨄ Unlike SCP-035, your plague doctor isn't dead set on escaping at all. All he wants to do is to return to the bodies so he can operate on them. You will catch a small scolding from him if you suggest trying to leave the 'patients' behind. Somewhere you think SCP-049 is just jumping on the chance to 'cure' people after the foundation no longer allowed humans anywhere near him. Additionally, he worries gallivanting throughout the facility will only risk your life more. He deems it safer to hunker down and wait it out.
ꨄ The two of you likely stay in one of the medical stations where he can continue his work without any further interruptions. He will make pleasant conversation with you, as he sews another corpse back up. It doesn't take long for a number of his new patients to stumble throughout the halls of the containment zone.
ꨄ Make no mistakes, though. His pale eyes watch you and the surroundings closely as he carries out the operations. He is swift to react if anything tries to jump out at you. While other anomalies are a bit more daring towards SCP-049 than they would be with SCP-035. That doesn't mean he is a pushover, though. Still, there are likely entities loose that are stronger than he is.
ꨄ If things get too dangerous he might try to make the journey, his eyes firmly on you at all times. The plague doctor trails close behind you, his dark figure casting over you like a tall shadow. His hand remains on your shoulder, as if you'll vanish if he lets go. You'll have to drag him away from anyone 'infected', though.
ꨄ SCP-049 is great at keeping his head cool otherwise, helping you stay calm in the process. Although his face is obscured, you can see that he is on edge. He tries his best to steer the both of you away from dangerous situations to the best of his abilities. Preferably, he releases you into the care of the Mobile Taskforce units that enter the facility, accepting re-containment.
MHA | Bakugou Katsuki x f!soft!reader ~ Background
Bakugou Katsuki wasn’t the type to notice people outside of his small circle. If someone wasn’t powerful, competitive, or didn’t spark his interest as a rival, they were simply background noise. And yet, there you were—a quiet, soft-spoken girl who had somehow caught his attention, despite everything that would have normally kept you invisible to him. You weren’t even in the hero course at UA. You didn’t attend combat training, nor did you possess some flashy quirk that screamed for attention. Instead, you preferred to stay in the background, almost as if you belonged there. But the more he caught glimpses of you around the school, the more he found himself intrigued.
It all began when he noticed you in the library one afternoon. You were sitting by yourself, reading a thick novel with the edges frayed, your brow furrowed in concentration. Katsuki had been searching for a book on battlefield strategy, but his attention drifted over to you. He hadn’t meant to stare, but he’d found himself watching as you turned each page with care, as if you were savoring every word. Your quiet, unassuming nature was foreign to him. Katsuki was so used to the loud, the bold, and the ambitious that you seemed almost unreal in comparison. Still, he tried to brush it off. But after that day, it felt like he saw you everywhere.
One rainy evening, he saw you sharing an umbrella with a younger student outside of UA’s dormitory. The way you stood there, holding the umbrella high enough to keep the kid dry while you got soaked yourself, struck a strange chord within him. You didn’t seem to mind being wet, either, as you smiled and patted the kid’s head, laughing quietly when he waved goodbye and ran off. It was such a simple act, yet Katsuki found himself dwelling on it long after the rain stopped.
It wasn’t until a few days later, in the hallway, that he got the chance to actually speak to you. He’d been rushing to his next class, not paying attention to his surroundings, when he nearly ran into you. You looked up at him, startled, with wide eyes that quickly turned into an embarrassed smile. Katsuki raised an eyebrow, half-expecting you to freeze and stutter some kind of apology, but instead, you just stepped aside, keeping your head down, and let him pass.
“Sorry about that,” you murmured, so softly he almost didn’t hear.
For reasons he couldn’t quite understand, he paused, watching you walk away. Something about your quiet demeanor, the way you seemed almost invisible but held a quiet strength, intrigued him.
“Hey,” he called, before he could stop himself.
You turned back to look at him, eyes widening slightly. “Yes?”
“Uh…you’re… in the general course, right?”
You nodded, looking a bit surprised. “Yeah. I am. Second year.”
He shifted awkwardly, trying to ignore the strange, unfamiliar feeling tugging at his chest. “I’m Bakugou. Bakugou Katsuki. Third year, hero course.”
You gave him a shy smile, nodding politely. “I know who you are. Everyone does. You’re one of the top hero students.”
Something about your words made his chest swell with pride. But the fact that you hadn’t said it in awe or admiration, just as a simple fact, somehow made it more…meaningful.
“Do you…like it here?” he found himself asking, almost surprised by his own question.
You hesitated, clearly not expecting him to ask something so personal. “It’s…fine. Different from what I’m used to, but fine.”
He didn’t know why, but he felt the urge to know more. “What did you do before coming here?”
“Just normal school stuff, I guess. I didn’t really stand out.” You smiled a bit self-consciously. “I wasn’t trying to become a hero, so I guess I’m just here to learn what I can.”
There was a sincerity in your tone that made him feel oddly at ease. Katsuki wasn’t sure why he was continuing the conversation, but he couldn’t seem to help himself.
“Well, maybe that’s a good thing. Hero work isn’t for everyone,” he muttered, almost to himself.
You laughed softly, and he looked up, surprised by the sound. It was a quiet laugh, but there was warmth in it that made his heart skip a beat.
“You’re probably right,” you replied, smiling. “But I think people like you make the hero course worth it.”
Katsuki blinked, taken aback by your words. He was used to people admiring him, even fearing him, but something about the way you said it, so matter-of-factly, struck him. You weren’t trying to flatter him or seek his approval; you were just being honest.
As you walked away, he found himself staring after you, feeling a strange warmth in his chest. For the first time, Katsuki felt something he couldn’t quite put into words—something that made him want to see you again.
After that, Katsuki found excuses to cross paths with you. He’d linger in the library, where you usually spent your free periods, or accidentally end up in the same cafeteria line. And somehow, each encounter led to a few more words exchanged, a few more glimpses of that quiet smile that left him feeling both annoyed and fascinated.
To you, Katsuki was a mystery. He was intense, with a reputation for his explosive temper and arrogance, yet he always seemed softer when he spoke to you. It was almost as if he had two sides—one for everyone else and one just for you. And you couldn’t deny that you found yourself looking forward to these chance encounters, even if they made your heart race and left you blushing.
One afternoon, as you sat in the library, buried in a book, you felt a shadow loom over you. Looking up, you found Katsuki standing there, hands in his pockets, looking unusually serious.
“Mind if I sit here?” he asked, his tone surprisingly polite.
You nodded, gesturing to the empty chair across from you. “Sure. It’s a public library, after all.”
He smirked at your joke, pulling the chair out and sitting down, his gaze fixed on you with an intensity that made you blush.
“So, what’s so interesting about these books?” he asked, nodding toward the stack of novels you’d collected.
You shrugged, feeling a bit self-conscious under his gaze. “They’re just…an escape, I guess. I like getting lost in other worlds.”
“Huh.” He leaned back in his chair, watching you with a thoughtful expression. “Never thought about it like that.”
There was a pause as you both sat in comfortable silence, and you couldn’t help but notice the way his gaze softened whenever he looked at you. It was as if he saw something in you that no one else did, something that even you didn’t fully understand.
As the days went by, your encounters with Katsuki became more frequent, and soon it became clear to both of you that there was something more between you. One evening, as you walked together down a quiet corridor after class, he suddenly stopped, his hand reaching out to gently grasp your wrist.
“Hey,” he said, his voice surprisingly soft. “I…I like you.”
You looked up at him, your heart pounding as you searched his eyes for any sign of hesitation. But there was none. Instead, you saw a raw honesty, a vulnerability that he rarely showed to anyone else.
“I like you too,” you replied, your voice barely above a whisper.
He let out a breath he hadn’t realized he was holding, his hand moving to gently cup your cheek. “Then…can we…try this? Whatever this is?”
You nodded, your cheeks flushed as you smiled up at him. “Yeah. I’d like that.”
And from that moment on, Bakugou Katsuki became a part of your world, his presence a constant source of warmth and strength. Though he was still his usual brash self around others, he was always gentle with you, always careful to keep you safe and happy.
As the weeks passed, the two of you became inseparable, your quiet strength balancing out his fiery temper. And though Katsuki wasn’t one for grand gestures or flowery words, he made it clear in his own way just how much he cared for you.
One evening, as you sat together under the stars, his arm wrapped around your shoulders, he leaned down to press a soft kiss to your forehead, murmuring, “You’re mine, got it? No one else gets to see this side of me but you.”
You smiled, feeling your heart swell with happiness as you snuggled closer to him. “I wouldn’t want it any other way.”

postcard ♱ letters between me & ethan in my knight reality. while i was away from the kingdom on a campaign, lord ethan landry has sent letter after letter to accompany me on my travels. i, too, write back when i make time.
♱ in flowy script & with pressed lavender inside a neatly folded letter, sealed with wax with the landry emblem of an ouroboros.
to the fierce dame thea karnstein,
i sincerely hope your campaign has been going smoothly. however, i must selfishly confess, it pains me when you have to leave, albeit it is your rightful duty in our court. my mind wanders to our times together, horse-riding and venturing to town. the castle is much more bare and devoid of warmth without your presence in my vicinity.
plainly, i miss you, and i wish you by my side. do let me know if there is any way i can be of help.
may the road rise up to meet you,
your ethan
p.s. i found this lavender in the gardens, and it made me think of you.
♱ three days later, scribbled letters that are no less earnest, with ink smudges on the parchment, folded slightly out of line, and a daisy pressed between.
dearest ethan,
i thought we were far past the threshold of addressing each other by our full titles. nonetheless, i am wholly flattered. i miss your proximity as well, i must admit. the greenery and fresh skies here remind me of you and our rides out to the hills. i think you would love it. i must bring you here sometime, when we are both unburdened by our duties.
fret not, i will return, with haste, shy of a fortnight. your letters are more than enough help to me.
may the wind be always at your back,
thea
p.s. i loved the lavender. i hope this daisy will suffice.
