I’ve found myself for many years of my life looking for someone who can hold my hand. Someone who can make everything okay, make everything brighter, make my wild heart settle down. I spent years of my life looking on the outside for comfort, warmth, and love. But all I ever needed, for all these years, was myself. When I need a hug, I give it to myself. When I need a pep talk, I give it to myself. When I need nurturance, adoration, and confidence, I give it to myself.

And how do you tell them you feel so empty without making it sound so sad?

I will go on adventuring, changing, opening my mind & my eyes, refusing to be stamped & stereotyped. The thing is to free one’s self; to let it find its dimensions, not be impeded. Yes, I will be free & entire & absolute & mistress of my life.

Be crumbled. So wild flowers will come up where you are. You have been stony for too many years. Try something different. Surrender.
