A Intro To The World (May Change Over Time)
Avokmond is a world originally inhabited by many, many races, untouched by human civilization until humans sailed in from another continent and...well...touched it.
Their arrival commenced a series of wars, mainly between dwarves and humans due to the high population of dwarves on the continent and their shared preferred landscape and their stubbornness and strength and unwillingness to yield to these human dipshits, finally ending in an uneasy truce thanks to the intervention of gods on both sides of the conflict, something neither side wanted as it could lead to the total destruction of the continent. This truce gradually became easier, and in time completely forgotten about, and by now, 500 years after this last great war, the races of the world have intermingled to the point which you will see humans and dwarves working side-by-side.
Unfortunately, without war there is no major conflict, and therefore no entertainment for the gods, and they're getting just a bit...too...antsy....
