Since that new show about Pamela Anderson and Tommy Lee (her abuser) is out, starring lily james and sebastian stan, I wanted to remind everyone not to watch it. It’s marketed through an empowering feminist lens, with the people involved saying it’s about a women ‘reclaiming her story’, when in reality Pamela herself was not involved at all throughout the shows creation and it was all made without her consent or input. It’s not a women ‘reclaiming her story’, it’s Hollywood stealing and using a women’s abusive past for money.

i’m not even sorry if you are friends with someone who does graphics and they put a whole ton of effort into making something beautiful for you (especially in large quantities) and you don’t tip them on kofi or offer anything in return you’re fucked up and you just used someone for their talent no matter if you’re friends or not.
