trying to read a shifters dr intro but half of the letters and symbols they're using got turned into question marks and boxes so it's genuinely indecipherable
i wish there were more stories about peoples realities or fun little posts like "what i eat in a day in my . . . italian reality" (IDK) like YESSS we know how to shift . everybody stop asking How it's been in us all along . can we have fun now

Smth small that annoys me is when people don't follow the rules of the language they're shifting to speak. Like to illustrate, calling riki "rik" or "riks" when in japanese a syllable can't end in k so the nickname wouldn't work and doesn't make sense outside of english
Or like how in english ng as in "bang" is a different sound to "ban" and they only seem similar bc they're spelt similarly in eng. In korean it'd be like 방 and 반 they would not treat those sounds as the same they wouldn't separate the n and g. And with double letters ㅂ vs ㅃ the distinction is important like "방 : room" and "빵 : bread"
I'm just really into linguistics so ig it just bothers me more. Like these are very syllable focused languages they wouldn't be split up like how english speakers might assume
