A roll of her eyes and with a wave of her hand the file he was reading closed shut. “–Now.” She wasn’t going to repeat herself and he knew it.

With the events that had taken place, most of her students weren’t coping so well. Once again, another event gone wrong–worse than the last time. However, she needed to get into the reality of things and as easy as it was to just overlook her student’s papers, it was just as unrealistic to let them believe they’d be able to pass if they didn’t try. With her coffee coming to an end, Avery stood up and headed towards the line to place another order.

Just as she got in line, she noticed a new face walk in as well. Clearly friendly from the smile that played across her lips, Avery couldn’t help but smile back as their gaze met. But as the line moved up, Avery turned back around and paid attention to the barista who was taking her order. Once she paid, she stepped to the side to wait. When she watches the otehr step into line, Avery turns to look at her before speaking up. “New to Hollow Grove?” she asks.

Juliana gets herself a little yogurt parfait and a mocha. She hears someone speak to her, and she blinks, and then grins at her. “Yeah. Yep. Uh, might as well get the pleasantries out of the way, right? I’m Juliana, I’m a witch from New Orleans, and my power is hurting people with my brain but I never use it because seriously, it’s horrible. And, who do I get to meet now?”

She’s genuinely excited. She loves people, and meeting new people, and getting to know them and what makes them tick and drives them. 

“I’m actually new to Tinder and I wasn’t looking for a date – nor friends, I was just curious.” As if that would help explain the reasoning behind this. Because a serial killer used Tinder, yes?

She’s spent some time thinking and going around meeting people. She still hasn’t really shrugged it off, and hasn’t fully worked through her feelings, but she’s going to give herself time for that. And part of giving herself time is, of course, going to include plenty of going out and having fun. Even if it’s just by herself, because maybe that way she can meet some people.

Juliana walks into a cafe that she hasn’t really visited yet, wondering if there are different people here that she can talk to. She looks around, taking in how many people are here and whether they seem like they’re open to conversation or not. She doesn’t want to be rude or inconsiderate. It’s a cute cafe and she smiles a lot just upon walking inside. Lovely.

She’s willing to be patient if he doesn’t want to tell her and a part of her almost wonders if he will talk to her. Her curiosity was getting the best of her and all she could worry about was another body showing up, someone they both knew. Someone close to them and fear was beginning to settle in with her as well, however when he spoke up to admit the face from his past shows up, she isn’t sure what to say. “What?” it comes out as a whisper, but she instantly catches herself. “Who?” she needs to know, but she isn’t sure for what reason. To prevent him from doing something that could lead him to trouble or to do it for him? 

If she were being honest this was the only place that made her feel safe. But it seemed like this wasn’t what the other was asking. “I feel safe and it isn’t a lie I tell myself. What about you?”

“Oh hush now, it won’t be so bad…” there was a slight pause on her end before she handed him the potion. “–this time.” She adds quickly.
