After reading the essay from The Guardian, âHow to write the perfect sentenceâ, there was one point of advice that really stuck out to me. This advice was, âa sentence, as it proceeds, is a pairing way of options. Each added word, because of the English languageâs dependence on word order, reduces the writerâs expectationsâ. When writing a sentence, there is an unlimited number of options. Since there is a limited word order in the English language, one word may help in writing the complete sentence. This piece of advice really opened my eyes to how one word can really impact a sentence.
