They were forced in a tough spot where they had to do things even they didn’t agree with while Nesta treated Feyre like shit out of jealousy and anger at her father.

despite the blight against the spring court and those cursed masks they had to wear, tamlin was still given full access to his home, his territory and his people. not to mention a way to break his curse (as cruel and unfair as it was). when tamlin rejected her, amarantha could've very well just killed all of his subjects and forced him to marry her on the spot, but in her own twisted way, she still accepted his refusal and gave him a chance to fight for his freedom and the liberation of his people.

rhysand was not only tortured, trapped and isolated from his home and his family, but he was SA'd continuously for 50 years straight, and the only way he could protect his court and be allowed to "roam freely" was to either service amarantha or force himself to commit atrocious acts that tore his conscience apart and further led the world to believe that he was nothing more than her dirty whore and an irredeemable monster.

tamlin's father allied the spring court with hybern, and he himself was friends with amarantha. that's how tamlin caught her attention in the first place. whereas when rhys was captured during the first war, amarantha didn't give a fuck about him and she probably didn't even realize that he was the son of the high lord of the night court. rhys himself said that she didn't recognize him either the day she trapped him utm.

the thing is, amarantha truly wanted tamlin. her feelings for him were definitely just obsession instead of true love, but she wanted him. on the other hand, amarantha never saw rhys as anything more than lackey who could do her dirty work for her, and a warm body she could pleasure herself with.
